RE: Model submissions for 4.87 closed - Jinx - 11-29-2012 firefly, GMG whale, X-shuttle, Gitano (unless your model made it in, swallow), kusari container transport, ravens talon (or was that taken care of?), ravens claw (doesn t concern disco 24/7 though) - as well as the other phantom ships, the wild scorpion is not genuinly disco, is it? - i believe i have seen it elsewhere, too. i think thats it, isn t it? due to the fact that disco updates partially and gradually, the process always leaves old/lower quality models - and also model designs that may need change according to the factions lore. - so the work never really ends. but imports were pretty well killed so far RE: Model submissions for 4.87 closed - Duvelske - 11-29-2012 There Goes my barge whale... Loved the idea. But well maybe someday... But well current one is good to.. Well jinx Made a good job with it in my view. Btw the hathor Will be restores to Old model? Or current one Will remain? RE: Model submissions for 4.87 closed - Swallow - 11-29-2012 Yes, Gitano must have been added. Shame we can`t have your non-zoner whale as for Kujira. RE: Model submissions for 4.87 closed - Jinx - 11-29-2012 upon vehement request by the leader of the order| - the hathor model was restored to 4.84 RE: Model submissions for 4.87 closed - Omicron - 11-29-2012 I believe it's 4.85, allthrough model might be older... anyway, I hope Massdriver's fighter from following link made it in. http://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=69001 RE: Model submissions for 4.87 closed - Swallow - 11-29-2012 Aet said nothing about it in logs as much as I remember. I hope too as I sent final retextured cmp to Aet long time ago. /summon Blodo + Aet RE: Model submissions for 4.87 closed - Swallow - 11-29-2012 What?! You definitely should have establish it all earlier! Why didn`t you insist or at least ask? RE: Model submissions for 4.87 closed - AeternusDoleo - 11-29-2012 Well, on the "want to replace eventually" list: Kujira (Gallofree Starwars model) Kamome (Needs to be bigger then what it is now, the model is also rather basic for a gas mining ship) Lane Hacker Gunship (Current model is poor quality) Bulldog (Doesn't fit the junker line at all that ship) Scorpion (Ships with large open areas on the inside are incredably hard to hitbox, and impossible to balance properly if you hitbox em true to surface) Uruz (Current model was a quicky by Jinx' own admission, since the Rheinlanders needed a multi-gun transport to keep things fair when Liberty got one. It's quality is mediocre) Firefly (It's an import, even if it's an okay model. Maybe turn this into a lower cargo 10 gun transport for Freelancers to play with) X-Shuttle (Current model is... hideous, and probably an import to boot) Those are the ones that top the list as "would like to get replaced at some point". The remaining models, well, there's usually room for improvement here and there, but no priorities. I'd also like to see house-styled base components at some point... [Edit] Gitano and Lightning models are in, so those are taken care of. Excellent work on that Junker LF by the way, had nothing to fix on it. RE: Model submissions for 4.87 closed - Swallow - 11-29-2012 That was the highest remark of my work I could ever imagine. Thank you very much. If I chose to return back to Windows, I will gladly put more effort to model something that would be useful here. |
