And games, lots of games which I just played on English (or bought). And I've only just recently started to watch my favourite sci-fi series in English (they're so much better now). I regret I never did that earlier. But yeah, -real- skills I got from Skype and ingame chatting as it's the a pretty natural and spontaneous way of practicing a language, unlike school where you hardly talk and mostly 'do grammar' *puke*. Yet I've become a wanna-be grammar nazi. Tsk. You should learn the difference between respectful common courtesy and submission to people who have shown time and time again that they deserve no respect. Also being respectful to those people would be an insult to people who deserve respect. Watching BBC because of their epic programs such as robowars. Watching discovery channel(with subtitles), because of epic programs such as the original scrapheap series and history programs..... Games, in English, when I didn't even know the majority of the words.... starting at the age of 7. From age 11ish we had English in school....
