Carriers never meant to be a tactical asset for any warfare, it's main purpose is to support front unit with rapid aerial or in this case snubs attack, carrying such assets will sacrifice movement and firepower, therefore carriers needs escort
why we need to do team play,if we can put all in one.Do carrier and bs in one ships. Heavy guns and big cargohold in one ship,only cd need to give them for full happiness.
