RE: Salary for Lawfuls - Possible? - Hone - 12-20-2012 Wouldnt that be more in the nature of a cheat, and for the cheat detector? Like someone setting up a script to trade for them? We havnt said no to trading because people can do that. RE: Salary for Lawfuls - Possible? - Savi - 12-20-2012 (12-20-2012, 01:13 AM)Coin Wrote: 150k per day x 6 = 900k I say it's sixty. And the amount of money is way too low to affect the food chain. I wouldn't afk my police ship for 150k, I make that money in 5 seconds. Would that be a viable option?Same problem, how do you prevent exploits, such as setting up a small script that repeatedly scans incremental targets? Hm maybe by having to scan the target using both the /showscan$ command and the normal scanners (default key O). Wherein you only get paid if the /showscan$ cargo matches your scanner data (You'd have to scan the target before it docks/sells what the trade lane/gate scan initially detected) I'm sure someone would eventually write up a good program that would be able to intercept targets automatically and scan them once they get in range, but like Hone said - we already have auto trader/miner exploits floating about out there which are less complicated. RE: Salary for Lawfuls - Possible? - stardust47 - 12-21-2012 I like the idea of this, but to be honest, there's lots of potential for abuse unless we make it a fixed payment of some sort, that requires one to log a certain amount of time in-game. However, I doubt that would be very popular, unless I'm being stupid. |
