Would it be an equipment for the ship that you then drop? (don't know if it's possible or Hardcoded) What would the range be? And with Torps as Cloakbreaker, the game doesn't make a difference between Light/medium/heavy cloak IIRC. So it would be just one Torp type, which imo should replace the CD for Snubs if it ever gets implemented. Satellite idea, that is constructed at player bases, is a good one. Alternative would be implementation of such device with either very expensive ammo, or rare ammunition that is being made at player bases only. I repeat my position: Light anticloak (antisnub) =====> only Gunboats. Heavy anticloak torpedo =====> bombers Heavy anticloak missile =====> destroyers\cruisers\BC on cruiser heavy slot. Give it to fighters - mean kick out Gunboat and bombers from fighter wing.fighters can CD it when it will be cloaked,this is enough for them. Nobody can hit them,but they can do heavy damage. This is wrong. They will anticloak light and heavy targets,without capital ships,this is wrong. Snubs are snubs - their role in heavy new weapon is secondary.Fighters must detect enemy with cloak and CD it,other units must anticloak it.For snubs already enough find it. But give them weapon to anticloak it - this is OP. Don't want to make you sad, but you ain't first who had idea for cloak distruptor. And just in case... Fighter's should be able to disable cloak from ship attempting to run. Because fighters can't deal much damage due to weponry, they should provide maximal support to bombers. Fighter stops, holds and make target wisible, snac and nova target. How this breaking team play? To be more....*laugh* "REALISTIC" make this cloak distruptor to have amo, not like snac. So, you can decide what you want to wear- CD, MR, Torp, EMP. |
