It is a shame really, i've never seen anything to complain about in regards to the XA's roleplaying. And bitching about them using the supernova cannon is just being nitpicky, to be quite honest. As others have stated, it is not like it isn't used by everyone anyway.
It is possible there will be a supernova cannon for each house in the next mod update (though possibly not, who knows?). Either way, i'm sure we can all happily live with them owning like 3 taiidans for the time being, at least until they get their civilian bomber made to actually be of any use :/

Oh thats what a Preagle is... I thought it was some Adv. Eagle thing...
But yeah compared to the Taliidan's the Preagle is kinda easy prey...

Taiidan is the only choice. SN is the only choice. Xenos have no choice (or any faction without a bomber but needing one). But i confess that the Taiidan is also a bit unfair because of his hitbox according to what i see on the forum.
The only hope is the Roc mk2 without the annoying docking bug. Only a decent alternative can allow them to stick to their RP guideline. Even the selling location of the Eagle is unlogical for them, but they need the Eagle as 50% of the factions without military ships.
Dusty/hood explain the exact situation. And for what i see since i play on the server, the XA and most independants are NOW a good exemple of fun and good willing RP.

Edit : Is it possible to make Nova Torpedo launcher more efficient (dunno how speed, tracking ?) And nerf the damage of the SN. In the end, a bomber will use more often Torpedo launcher. We all now that mini-razor/SN are the one-shot-kill weapon against fighter. If the efficiency of class 9 gun + Nova increase, an alternative arise. A bomber will use Nova Torp for their main purpose : bombing capital ships.

Add to that the fact that the CD is bugged and sometimes doesn't fire, making pirating in a preagle a rtaher hit and miss affair if you forget to check every time you undock. Frankly for us that's it's biggest flaw. I've lost ount of the amount of times I've tried to CD a passing transport in my old preagle aonly to hear the sound and see nothing happen except my ammo count go down.

The Preagle also appears to have an Arwing bug sometimes, as in, weapons not appearing on scanners.
