yes , ddos attacks induce lag , lag causes the problems you describe .

Refunds aren't on the table. We've stated a few times on the forums in green text that the rollback would be coming. When you've got a major attack going on thats going to require extensive repairs and rollbacks to counter, common sense indicates you don't do anything that you'll regret losing.

well i saw that it was going to be going up and down but saw nothing about a rollback, didnt even know that was possible. hours gone. so with all due respect it should have been blasted everywhere that nothing you do this week will be kept. thats all i'll say on the topic.

Or in some other post of the last few days. Anyway it's like jammi mentioned. You wouldn't go into a house that is beeing shot on for example.
But don't take it too serious. Those credits you will gain back soon. And about the lost ships ... see it this way: now you have the fun to set this character(s) up 2nd time!
