Swering Vs. concequences - ScornStar - 06-21-2008 Try " Curses!! Foiled again!" Sorry:$ Swering Vs. concequences - Asymptotic - 06-21-2008 If you can't spell "swear" they ban you for 7 days instead of just fining or jailing you. I'm pretty sure that's established admin custom. Swering Vs. concequences - pragun - 06-23-2008 I want to cite my case.... Note that the following conversation is going to be OoRP - I was having a particularly bad day, one day and in order to vent my frustration, i started swearing at people around me. They had not done anything wrong, but i swore at them (:(and i am ashamed of it ). But in a little while, i realised what i had done, and i apologised to them... over the public channels, and explained to them that i lost control of myself and i was really really sorry i said all the stuff, and i regret it and pleaded them to forgive me... The guy who i was swearing at, is char name is Startracker, he also said that its okay, just take care and dont do it again.. I said sorry to him once more, and then to the people of the system for my use of profanity.. I sincerely meant my apology, and since the day of my ban i have written numerous apologetic letters to the Admins as well. Please consider this post to be an apology, and an explanation to the players for my behaviour... I hope you all continue to enjoy FL, and maybe i ll be seeing you in space soon.. Swering Vs. concequences - chovynz - 06-23-2008 The only opinions you need to know about are the admins. Appealing to the masses like this is ... distasteful. And here I thought this was one big community Swering Vs. concequences - RonG777 - 06-23-2008 There is nothing wrong for one to apologize to the community for one's actions..(perhaps in a separate thread, but no matter). If you wish to appeal, I believe there is a thread for that as well. But I feel it is not distasteful at all for one to apologize.. Swering Vs. concequences - Marburg - 06-23-2008 Hyung never said that apologizing was distasteful what he said was: Quote:Appealing to the masses like this is ... distasteful. (meaning triyng to get forum members to second guess admin judgement for an obvious party foul) Swering Vs. concequences - RonG777 - 06-23-2008 Well, then I am sorry for misunderstanding.. Swering Vs. concequences - pragun - 06-23-2008 No no no, i am not tryin to get to get forum members to second guess admin judgement for an obvious party foul. I have already admitted to my wrongs man... i d like you to know that this was meant as a general apology for my behaviour. I wanted to knw if such a thing was acceptable. As for my appeal to the admins, i contacted them directly, without the use of any such medium. I offered a direct apology... And dont be so hard on me people, i am a good person. Sure, i made a mistake, but who doesnt ?? Moreover, i am accepting it and apologising to the members, who might have been witness to the swearing an all, or might be at the receiving end. Isnt that like the right thing to do ?? U make a mistake, u acknowledge it and try to make amends ! C'mon man, why such harshness ? Swering Vs. concequences - RonG777 - 06-23-2008 I have no problem with that whatsoever. You are doing the right thing. |
