Outcasts and Nomads - Treewyrm - 06-22-2008 Heh, you can play around possibility that Puck's character is Order's spy into Outcast house who is paranoid about Nomads and infestation, that would quite reflect his fears of aliens and what they bring with them. As Chancellor Neumann once said: "...my eyes were opened to new "possibilities". That's here one example for you to resolve the situation without going flaming on forums and purely in roleplay. So open your eyes to possibilities of roleplay too. Seriously, this thread isn't doing any good. I highly suggest to stop it right there. --- Edit: Remember, don't rush actions ahead of your roleplay. I like that idea of sisterhood, but be more careful about it, implement it slowly and carefully. So that in time eventually things will get to as you want them to be, but until then and not until good amount of work has been done. Outcasts and Nomads - Dennis Jameson - 06-22-2008 Then perhaps you had best do some research on the nature of nomads... Heh... Tenacity is wrong, for not every outcast views the Nomads as "pleasant visitors" hence why you should not come to Malta. The "spirits" stick the to ship graveyard near the O-90 jump hole, and they should stay there, for anything other than that is quite OORP (atleast in my opinion). Outcasts and Nomads - Srkad - 06-22-2008 Alright, this is my last post on the matter. I dont see any ooRP matters coming into this. MY rp, meant that it WASNT ooRP. If i have any reason to be there at ALL its not ooRP, the "Sisterhood of the light" made it rp. All this said, i know that i am not wrong in either my reasoning, nor my train of thought. But I will throw 4 hours of work out the window because you guys wont show any flexablilty. Some people put work of weeks and months into their projects but those never worked out. Yes, it's frustrating but neither critical. Outcasts and Nomads - Srkad - 06-22-2008 I'm just saying that because this was my first REAL rp, ill get over it, just a little ticked off at the moment. =( Outcasts and Nomads - Immunity - 06-22-2008 Fighting about this will get nowhere....just get over it. This has also given me ideas for a story somehow... Outcasts and Nomads - Treewyrm - 06-22-2008 Don't be saddened. Sure every can do mistakes, even those years in here can easily do and have an overlook in uncertain situations. But don't lose your hope and will either. Perhaps yes - you better to change areas where you hang around in your character, be less straight-forward and don't rush things, take time and careful thought - they can set things right and pave a road for the character. Frustration is a normal state for nomad character on it's path, get used to it, that is the choice you made. Outcasts and Nomads - Immunity - 06-22-2008 Well said. :) Outcasts and Nomads - Ion - 06-22-2008 This whole thing is kinda ugly... I have one suggestion. Play through the whole single player game (with disco off if its to hard, it gets really tough with it on) before you RP a nomad... you'll get a much better Idea of what they are. Outcasts and Nomads - Treewyrm - 06-22-2008 ' Wrote:This whole thing is kinda ugly... I have one suggestion.Puck, things have changed in time as well. Like politics between houses change, war replaces peace and vice versa so do Nomads adapt into the world that was stolen from them. New opportunities were opened and new paths are to be revealed. I don't see this as a static game and never will, I like changes to happen and pathways to be found, new relations to be established and new conflicts to be found. That is what makes our game experience lifelike and rich in variety. Perhaps show more flexibility too, how about it? Just because single player campaign was dominantly told from perspective of Order it doesn't reflect Nomads from their standpoint at all, or other factions for the matter of fact. Try to see variety and wider choice here. Don't narrow your views only to what you have seen through the eyes of the Order in the course of single player campaign. And that will be my suggestion for you here. I have played SP campaign but I form Nomad development based on conceptual design and storyline leftovers that has never got into the game due to time constraints and making Nomads into what they might have truly been. Discovery. So discover new opportunities and ways too. 4.85 will have a lot as regard Nomads to discover further. You will be surprised. |
