Oh, that isn't the same kind of crashing then. If you get kicked from a server or EA shuts down Battlelog for maintenance then it just crashes your game rather than shutting it down with a message telling you what happened.

The kicking is due to some Punkbuster inconsistencies. Some servers have an updated Punkbuster. Some don't. You'll get kicked by about half of them anyway. Play on a server with Punkbuster off in the meantime.

I've not been kicked once since I updated Punkbuster this morning. Not that it matters, I can't play for more than 5 minutes without it crashing to the desktop.

Crashing to desktop, mhmm... Try uninstalling your antivirus software. Had to uninstall mine (bit defender) in order for battlelog to work. Plus crashing stopped since I uninstalled it.
