Why would anyone join the RHA inRP if they kill people that can't pay taxes? Aren't they supposed to be fighting against this? I mean, what they do is legitimate, various factions throughout history acted against their own mottoes, but it is threatening their existence. It's like shooting yourself in the knee.

I don't think you understand the way a revolutionary, particularly a left-wing one, argues. Why would they be fighting against taxes? The whole point of the RHA's political point is the instating of socialist principles within Rheinland. It's not about taxes.

As I see it Hessians are warning about attack, so workers and civilians can evacuate. Point is to destroy the finacial base of Rheinland government, corporations and contractors that goverment is relying on. Red terror is also a thing and civilians can be killed to show that working for the Rheinland corporations is a bad idea. In any case Hessians are not opressing the workers, they opress and aiming to destroy the corporations.

Imagine that you are a worker. One side feeds you, albeit poorly. The other destroyed your friend's workplace last week. Perhaps your friend too. On whose side would you be?
I am just trying to point out that there are better ways to win a revolution than with sheer force.
