What if corsairs brought 20 ships into New London, would you fight against Corsairs?
A more reasonable example, what if corsairs were pirating the Stokes lane, or Niobium field? Would you act in defending Bretonian trade and mining efforts? Also extend this to a more frequented Corsair zone, like Dublin or Cambridge.
I am not completely sure, but I doubt we are going to go looking to fight Corsairs. The only people we are looking to fight is the Gallics.

I dont think friendship is based on helping the other side in their own little shooting conflicts. From my point of view, the BAFers dont have currently any time to hunt down gaians, but have all hands full with the Galics what are at the door.
I blame the lack of ingame galic presence in Bretonia, so the feeling that there is a whole Galic Army is missing...

Right, quick bit of advice.
Hogsha coming in to sneakily supply you is fine and all, but they're still highly hated and wanted criminals in Bretonia. So, if you get caught working with them for any reason, you're going to get in a ton of trouble, right?
So, don't announce over system chat that one has just been supplying you. Especially when the system in question is filled with BAF and Bowex at that moment in time. It's silly. Be discrete.

It just occurred to me, but Ronin were masterless Samurai (and thus, mercenaries) in feudal Japan. They are not masterless here, but I wonder what the Japanese for "exiles", "cast-out" or "banished" is...? Ronin as a name doesn't really fit...

Well, their lord has been disgraced, so perhaps it describes not so much the physical state of the Emperor as it does his position in Kusari society. Jein Kogen may be alive and well, but the Emperor as they know him no longer exists. In that way, they can be considered Ronin, because the master they had sworn loyalty to is no longer the person he was before.

Kogen's only Master was Kusari, he no longer has that Master, he is a Samurai as are those who follow him. He and they no longer have a Master.
