AW message Dump - BestFlyerHere - 06-14-2007 Comm ID: Supreme Commander Kaine To: AW High Command I was patrolling in your system yesterday, and spotted on RAHF-Ivan.Something. I ordered him to leave the system immediately, and he fired at me. I quickly dispatched of him. These SCRA pilots are getting easier by the hour... Conctact any HF member to assist you on patrols, and they will do so. For the Alliance! Kaine out. AW message Dump - Dab - 06-18-2007 .:Battle Report:. Admiral Soren, Aboard the AWC-Chimaera
Destination: Asgard Warriors Report DumpCC: HF Message Dump Forwarded to: Broad-wave transmission to all receivers This is Admiral Soren aboard the AWC Chimaera. We have just had a chance to test the new weaponry fitted upon it. Worked magnificently with our agility. We engaged two SCRA near Freeport 4, funny how the IMG aren't hostile to them? Reputation mix up, eh? At first a Gunboat and a Raven's Talon. The gunboat ran off, sending a Liberty Cruiser in its place. (Speed-docked/F1d/changed character) We sent a request for reinforcements to both the HF and a nearby SA battleship, though we didn't expect much from the SA, even if they managed to arrive in time. We were surprised though, when we blew the guns right off their Raven's Talon in under thirty seconds. I had expected a bit more in skill from our enemies. After this, the SCRA fighter hung around and then retreated after it was clear we weren't going to be distracted. Thus remained just the Liberty Cruiser, who had been able to do no more than put a scrape on our shields, that was regenerating as fast as it was being drained. Due to our agility, and the exquisite piloting of Captain Nautiker, we were able to completely prevent the SCRA cruiser from firing its forward gun. This isn't to say he did not try, as he did. But you could place a station in the space between the beam and our ship. Twice he fired, and twice he missed. Only his 4 Nomad turrets were able to hit us, and they were uneffective at penetrating our defenses. Meanwhile, our dual Infernos knocked his shields down, only for him to replace it with on-board shield batteries. Just as we dropped the shield a second time, an HF fighter piloted by Kestral Lysania arrived and aided in damaging the cruiser. The SCRA cruiser quickly showed the most well-known reputation of the SCRA. He ran. He somehow docked with Freeport 4, an IMG base, instantaneously. Again about the rep mix-up eh? We were able to force them out of the system, escorting the damaged cruiser out of Megellan to the Manchester system. Quite a large repair bill he'll have to forward to his superiors on that one. The fighter will need to rebuy all of its weaponry as well. A few minutes past the end of the fight, the SA's battleship, Las Vegas, finally arrived. And as usual, late. We stationed the Chimaera out at Freeport 4 until we can get an IFF from the HF to allow us into Vespucci. The SCRA seem to take a fancy to calling us a skill-less group of fanatics. I think its time we disprove that theory. Admiral Soren
AW message Dump - gezza999 - 06-18-2007 From: Lieutenant Commander Jack Niven of the Acropolis To: AWHQ It seems that this new faction.. the GDI, are causing some of our officers trouble, they killed a certian Captian, to avenge the loss of a cruiser, the Acropolis moved into position outside Crete, to take down the foe, which consisted of 1 Cruiser, and a fighter We managed to destroy 1 Corsair Huntress (GDI Controled), and the fighter decided to flee, unfortunatly for him, directly into Crete's Atmosphere.. Lovley bit of luck there.. But, the loss of our cruiser shall be mourned, we will hold a 2minute silence at the time of their funerals. END OF MESSAGE AW message Dump - Dab - 06-19-2007 Comm ID: General Feindlich Recipients: AW HQ-Freeport XV Sir, the Ableben encountered a GDI Huntress near Freeport 9 today. When confronted with the Ableben, he followed our orders that he leave Omicron Theta space immediately. Nothing more than that. Some SCRA were spotted in Sigma-13, but they dared not come closer to our home. End of Transmission [color=#C0C0C0].:Battle Report:. Lt. General Neratin, Aboard the AWGB-Denicalus
Destination: Asgard Warriors Message DumpCC: HF Message Dump Forwarded to: Broad-wave transmission to all receivers This is Lt. General Neratin, commanding the Asgard Warriors Gunboat, Denicalus. The LaFamilia has made an aggression once again. Found just outside the Gamma jump hole on the Theta side. We engaged immediately, attacking the Liberty Cruiser at an angle that prohibited him from firing his forward gun. His multiple cruiser turrets were able to do light damage, but the cruiser's shield dropped just as fast as our gunboat shield did. We increased our evasive maneuvering as a delaying action until the AW Cruiser, Black Sun was able to arrive and help us. The cruiser changed its target to our Outcast Dreadnaught, and we tucked in right behind him. With Black Sun's Infernos and Battlerazors, as well as the Denicalus' weaponry, we quickly dropped the cruiser hull and destroyed it, again. The Denicalus recieved no damage, and we still have a full load of nano bots and shield batteries. The same can't be said for the Black Sun, but the cruiser was still well-loaded with bots, and only light armor damage. Nothing a short stop in Livadia can't handle. For the first, and test, battle of the Black Sun, she preformed exquisitely against a ship made for the sole purpose of killing other cruisers and battleships. Lt. General Neratin
AW message Dump - Dab - 06-20-2007 Comm ID: Admiral Erinyes Recipients: AW High Command, Admiral Kreig, HF Message Dump, Bs| Leadership This is Admiral Erinyes aboard the Caedo. We have just left Rheinland space. I will start from the beginning. We were positioned in Sigma-13, on our way to Megellan to defend it from the SCRA. We asked for permission to enter Rheinland space from the RM cruiser, Vineta, and it was granted. We traveled through New Berlin and Hamburg. At the Bering jump gate, we had a ship shutdown. (AFK) When we were able to restart the systems (came back from AFK status) the Rheinland Military Battleship, Alzette had attacked the ship and taken our hull down to critical level. (About 1/8th of a bar left.) Our shield was also removed completely at the time. (Virus, piloting the Alzette, had known I had the game minimized, as he was in the same Skype convo at the time.) As soon as we demanded a reason for this, the Alzette said we had ten seconds to leave the system. Not an easy feat with a ship as big as ours. We refused to, given the fact that the RM nearly destroyed the ship when we were having problems, then decided to give us a chance to leave, when they knew full well we were on-route to the Bering system. The Alzette then opened fire. The Caedo, already crippled, didn't stand a chance at fighting a fresh, full nano bot/shield battery equipped battleship. We retreated towards the two Hamburg jump holes in the system. The Alzette left the chase when it kept getting stuck in the asteroids, and the Caedo was able to make it to Sigma-13. I demand an explanation for this unprovoked attack on a neutral ship. Admiral Erinyes
AW message Dump - TankTarget - 06-22-2007 Comm ID: Drake Thastus To: Asgard Warriors "In the nature of our alliance you have assisted us in many a battle against our opponents. Now I request you again assist us but not against our foes but the Phantom Empire. I will be conducting this war myself but I need your help. Send what you can, I will rip these scum in half..." Transmission terminated OOC: I am going to deal with the Phantoms, and I could use a hand here and there. My pilots are gonna get trained. And since the AW has the two best pilots on the server in it I was wondering if you could kick my men's asses into shape. Because I am going to win this war...your help would be tremendously appreciated AW message Dump - Korrd - 06-22-2007 And the Asgards are going to assist you. Have your pilots to report to the Asgard training grounds (Read, PvP server), and we will train them up to Asgard standards. Also, you will need to equip your ships with the A-TCS (Asgard Tactical Communication System, aka Skype) so we can better interact while training. the standard comms are unsecure, and buggy. The Asgard Training grounds creation is being discussed on the AW HC chambers as we speak. The most likely outcome is that we will agree to create the Training and testing grounds on the Alternate Universe recently discovered (read, the PvP server) so we can train all over Sirius without interruptions. The only remaining problem is that we are yet to find a way to move our ships there. Sending a pilot is easy, sending a whole ship seems to be impossible atm. AW message Dump - Korrd - 06-25-2007 From: Korrd. On the Livadia shipyards Message: Recently, I was travelling back home through the VIP's route, when suddenly, a SCRA Fighter showed up on my sensors. It was a Raven's talon called 'Ares'. I soon brought all weapons to speed and opened fire on him. The fight was going well. I was giving him a hell of a beating on the asteroid field, but I detected two more ships in the vicinity coming fast at us. The ship weren't Asgard nor allied. I thought they were SCRA reinforcements, but they ignored us and opened fire on each other. During the ensuing confusion, the Ares escaped. As I begun the pursuit of the Ares, the corsair ship hailed me. Her captain was worried that I could be attacking about the fellow corsairs that were around us. Sorted that, I set course to Gamma, in order to catch the Ares. I found him at sector 7-G of the Gamma system, near Malta, and engaged him again. The fight was a hell of one. I could not bring down his hull, as his dodging skills were superb, something I wasn't expecting from the SCRA... a GOOD pilot. He took my shields down, I took his shields down... Countless times... I discovered that they tend to use an.. interesting tactic: As soon as I took down his shields, he run circles around me at max thrust while his shield generator reloaded. After a few hours of that, I hailed the pilot and told him to stop, to fight or leave. Surprisingly, he stopped doing it and concentrated more on trying to hit me and less on keeping his shields up. We kept fighting for ours, but in the end, my hastiness made me pay the price of retreat... We all know that a shield generator is a piece of equipment that has to tolerate a lot of stress. As such, it needs maintenance much more often than any other piece of hardware. Every 2100 hours, we have to take the ship shields to servicing in order for those to get maintenance. In the case of a graviton shield, the aGrav component is re polarized, plasma flux regulators are realigned, and sometimes the torsion projector has to be replaced. Well, my shield gen had been operating for almost one and a half year with no maintenance. To be precise, 12597 hours. They had the efficiency degraded already, but I didn't noticed it as I was rarely hit that much to notice it. They weren't working well on this fight. I was forced to go to the defensive because they kept drooping way too quick.. In the end, the shield generator failed, and my shields went down. Alarms sounded everywhere in the cockpit. To make a long story short, I had to retreat, and pray that the hull could take all the radiation and corrosive gases that were present on the nebulae I had to go through in order to reach home. The SCRA pilot didn't pursue. I guess he was as tired as I was from the long engagement, and decided not to push his luck any more. After reaching the base, I took the shield gen apart with the Tech team, and we found that the torsion projector was completely ruined, the aGrav component was melted and the power grid was cooked. In resume, I had to discard the entire unit and buy a new one. The SCRA pilot's name I later learnt thanks to our cover ops guys. Bluntpencil. Odd name for a person if you ask me. A remarkable pilot, indeed. I advice caution when fighting against him, as he is no rookie, but a fully fledged veteran. And one with honour... Something that is becoming rare this days... OOC: In resume, the first encounter happened on the O-5 system, near the 41 JH. I was going to Gamma in order to fight him. Imagine my surprise when I found him right in front of me in the middle of the Asteroid field of O-5. I soon hit the Kb and opened fire. He did the same. A nice fight, but he lacked the ability to fight among that tight asteroid field. We were rather even, but I was getting the upper hand as I knew well how to use the AF to my advantage. A few mins after the fight begun, A corsair and a BHG ship appeared. I thought "Oh, sh*t, enemy reinforcements. Two cruisers." But they ignored us and begun engaging each other. Do you imagine 2 separated PvP which had nothing to do with each other, one 1k of the other and 20 NPC wreaking havoc around all of us.. all that in the middle of a nuke minefield, missiles and debris? I call that an awesome environment!!!!11one!one11!1 I confused his shield thrust tactic with shieldrunning and told him not to. He thought he broke a rule and stopped fighting, while all my mines, missiles, and other nasty weeds converged on his ship, blowing him up. We then talked a bit and resumed the fight at Gamma, G-7. I think the fight lasted for more than 1 hour. Our shields were practically all the time off line, but our hulls took little damage. I ran out of bots, bats, missiles, mines, etc before he did, and my shields were taking a hell of a beating too god knew why.. He had the upper hand on that one. I told him not to shield thrust, as that was making the fight last forever. The battle ended when the stu*id Excel launched (I have a programmed task that launches daily at 21:30), and minimized my game, causing my ship to stand still enough time to be blown up to dust... It was a hell of a fight. He is an excellent pilot indeed. One more on my short list of dangerous pilots. I also think that we should redefine shieldrunning, from the current definition of "engaging cruise to stay away while shields recover" to "Going out of weapons' range while shields reactivate", because it makes fights way too long... And that among veteran pilots causes infinite undefined fights. AW message Dump - TankTarget - 06-29-2007 Comm ID: Supreme Commander Kai Thastus To: Asgard Warriors High Command "We have the support of the Helghast and the Ghosts of Ragriz in the war now. However, I will in return relay their concerns. They wish (If you're on and if someone is trying to get into Alpha or Omicron 85 through Theta that you stop them or send warning) for some assistance as you are friendly to them. The HF will be taking care of this for the most part so do not worry. However Omicron Theta is your slice of the pie." Kai out... OOC: Not too much to ask, and considering I will soon be making many more fighters/bombers to cover the distance it won't be too much on you. AW message Dump - Dab - 06-29-2007 .:Bulletin:.
Recipients: Asgard Warriors Fleet, Hellfire Legion HQ - America Base, Ghosts of Razgriz - Corsica, The Brotherhood - Planet Crete
Due to increasing hostility between The Brotherhood and the Asgard Warriors, the TBH have lost their rights to Omicron Theta. Any TBH vessel entering the system will be hunted down and destroyed. Any other factions, including the Ghosts of Razgriz now have the right to attack TBH ships in Omicron Theta and Omicron-74, as well as moving through Theta to attack Omicron Gamma. In response to the TBH's willingness to aid the Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army TBH's diplomatic standings to the AW have been set to hostile. This comes with a contract for 1 million credits per TBH kill by anyone, payable by the AW. The above actions will be in effect until such time as the TBH surrenders, or backs out of the war between AW/HF and SCRA. Helghast standings towards AW have been set to friendly. For the duration of GoR's involvement in the war, AW will not allow anyone passage through Omicron Theta for any purpose that involves hostility towards GoR. AW will help the GoR defend Omicron Alpha from any attackers, including those from the BSG. AW will be setting a temporary restriction in Tau-37, prohibiting anyone from using the northern half of the system, with intentions of attacking Omicron Alpha. AW authorizes GoR use of any Zoner stations in Sirius, as well as setting neutrality with the Zoner Guard of Omicron-74, and access to the system. Exception to this is Omega-49, which is under ~V~ control. Same for Helghast and Hellfire Legion. GoR now have temporary access to the Asgard Warriors message dump. <div align="right]Asgard Warriors High Command |
