Let me elaborate here: The Corsairs got the Battleship Fes in Omega-47, the Prox in Omicron-91 -TOGETHER- with those insane weapon platforms of "I instakill you if you don't move after jumping and do it anyway if you do and just have bad luck.", and I do remember that there's been another stationary Battleship somewhere else.

Now, geography: Do you know where the Prox is at? It's right in your face when you jump to O-91. You know where the JH is at? Conveniently located nice and easy and quick to reach from Tripoli or Crete. It takes like idk 30 seconds to get there and then it's Battleship-hugging time!

Oh let's not mention that there's XYZ Legates and Osirises based in Gamma to boot. But ok, next, patrols.

Dudes, seriously, you have TITANS which carry TIZONAS and Salamancas all over the place, always appearing in swarms like. I mean seriously, okay, you don't have Sabres with Infernos like I remember them from Alpha a while ago, but seriously you're complaining? You even get a docking ring of pulse-chain-fire-rape-yo-caps-24/7 on top of two super-convenient fall-back points with Omi 91 and Ome 47, right at jumphole exits.

Oh well tell you what, what should a Hessian player say then? Complain about how Freital SUCKS? How Ronneburg SUCKS? How not once either base has stopped bull-rushing RNC or Corsairs caps and much less put a dent in either?

Maybe a Hessian player should complain about how, as per lore if I checked right, a faction more NUMEROUS than Corsairs didn't manage to put a single stationary Battleship anywhere? Like how about in Omega-11, at the O-41 JH? Or in O-7, at the O-5 JH? You know what I saw comparative to Corsair stuff on the Hessian end?

You want more defenses? OK. I'm sure you got at least 3 stationary Battleships. I want two stationary Hessian ones and I want Freital's defenses upped to match a docking ring in shield-rape.

Oh and I want ODINS to spawn in DOZENS like Titans show up in dozens in Gamma, and I want those ODINS to carry at least One Deb and five class 9 Natters with 9er Natter turrets, and I want them to spawn around Freital, 24/7, around the clock, from Monday to Sunday, 365 and a quarter days a year like Corsairs get Titan swarms in Gamma. Oh and I want the O-54 JH to be moved within 20k of Freital like the 91 JH is less than 20k from Tripoli and Crete in Gamma last I checked. And yes, I want a stationary Battleship on the other side.

Oh and I want a stationary Zoner GUARD Juggernaut within 3k distance to the Omicron Gamma JH in Omi Theta to boot, so we can have it fair and even and stuff. You know.
As for the whole ordeal:

You reap what you sow. You went all conquest onto Theta and 41. -OK-, you can do that, that's cool. I'm all for it, you're Corsairs, supposed to be somewhat all Spartan-like mixed with Persian hordes. All cool, super-cool, super-green.

You get RP in return. Some of this RP is -GASP!²- Zoners fighting back, making makeshift alliances to resist the Corsair hordes and to fight for their Zoner-y freedom and independence a la Braveheart. That's a RP consequence. To me it makes no difference, I flew my "volunteer" along with Hessians before, and I flew my Hessian before, and I will do so now. I raided before, and I will raid again. Nothing changed for me.

For you, the Corsairs, you appear to complain a lot. We complained even back when I was in OPG, but I don't remember us complaining about "defenses", I don't remember us complaining about biting off more than we could chew or people effing us up in Gamma or in whatever fight we got ourselves into. We pirated, we raided Bretonia, we raided Alpha, we raided Sigmas, we raided everywhere we could, we fought, we won some, we lost some, but we didn't bloody complain about this crap, now I skim through this thread and I see stuff that fills me with contempt.

Where are my Spartans? Where's the carnage and slaughter? Where's my Corsairs raiding hostile territory 24/7 and pirating people all around the clock, making them actually FEAR FEAR FEAR whenever a Corsair shows up on their scanners? Sitting in their Skype chats or on Forums or what? Seriously I don't know.

Still, this whole RP thing, way early on page one in the thread leonidos asked a question:

"how the TBH can order to stop all food shipments. and kill zoner vessel on sight?"

madvillain answered:

"Because they can."

Corsairs have acted because they can. Some Zoners and others are reacting to the Corsairs' aggressive actions. Because they can. All is well.

So let me finish in true Spartan fashion:

You want Omicron Theta? You want some Freeports? You want some kind of victory? You want all those things?
