I, uh, made a minor mistake. A teeny tiny mistake, practicably ignorable just about, so, uh, I kind of broke multiple laws in Kusari, specifically the fun ones around Capital Ship registration, and cloaking technology. You see, it all started back when I was born....and lets skip a little I guess. Point being is Kusari Police Inspector Ayado brought to my attention that some regulatory changes have occurred wherein the Locker now needs to be registered, permitted, etc. I'll look over all the fancy paperwork to see all what needs to be done. Now things went very pleasantly with the KSP, and most importantly I managed to squeak on by without needing to pay a fine, which is fine by me. But uh, don't be surprised if someone calls in a complaint about me.

Okay, look, I'm going to pretend to understand, but when I come across a literal mob of GC pilots, I'm at a loss of what to do, we need to convince the Hogosha to allow us to fly these passengers directly to the Golden Dagon Casino, this forced stop at Noshima is going to drag the eyes of the Empire onto our wittle operation. Maybe we ploy out and contact the Governor of the system to plead for assistance? I'm almost at a loss for ideas. But the GC are making it awfully hard for me to do business without attracting attention of the law, especially when they are sending out drones and pilots. Oh and its gratifying to know that the Kusari police ignore their bad officers just as resiliently as LPI ignores theirs.

Good Day,

As many of you may not be aware I recently entered into talks with a rather, funny, zoner fellow who is interested in buying out the Stagecoach. Now normally the sales department would direct them to our lifelong shipwrights at Baltimore. But this offer comes at a rather opportune time. You see I have been interested in retiring for a number of months now. And while Dylan has been a loyal protégée. It is time for him to take the helm.

With this in mind, I have decided that the Stagecoach will be sold to this third party. The profits of which will be used by Dylan to outfit a vessel. Suited to his tastes', and the ever changing wants of the clients. No doubt I will see many of you before my full retirement, but not after that. Unlike those who have bounded for Bielefeld I think I'll start off my retirement on a beach in Baden Baden that bans communicators. Oh, while you'll no doubt hear more from Dylan in the coming days and weeks I will let you all in on a little secret now. Our newest fleet member is to be christened OS&C|TE-Sanguine_Gardens.

Greetings Colleagues!

Today, while running our routine from Pool to Shikoku, carrying socialities, we did a stop in Manhatten orbit. Our guests just love the view.
While parking in close proximity to the docking ring, scanners picked up a contact. The IFF-System identified the vessel as a Liberty Rogue, callsign Birdie.

Now hold on to something, you won't believe me. This guy had the audacity to try and extort us directly in orbit of Libertys Capital planet!
Yes! He demanded that we pay him, while all around him everything tried to shoot him down. Of course we did not comply with his demands. Normally, in every other case we would, since I do not want to risk anything happening to our passengers. Everybody on board knows Orbital regulations by heart. But come on, in orbit of a planet as heavily fortified as Manhatten?
We traded a few rounds of fireworks. My gunners were not able to shoot him down, since he always dodged out of range due to the heavy fire from Manhattens orbital weapons platforms. After several minutes Birdie left, but not without mentioning to be back.
Well, we did need to dock since some of our guests wished to visit the surface, so we will never know, if this bird reappeared.

Subject: Concerns about Baden Baden safety



To our directors in Curacao,
Schmidt here, speaking on behalf of the captains and personnel, both on board and on land, stationed here in Rheinland. Specifically, this communication is intended to shed light on a series of issues and concerns that are affecting your employees here in Baden Baden.

Since our company took over management of the planet, it has consistently been placed on the back burner and somewhat neglected in comparison to Curacao, partly due to its lesser fame and its more secluded location. In recent years, with the closure of the gate to Omega-11, this secluded position has turned into a veritable dead end.
The first and most immediate impact of the closure of the communication artery has been the reduction in civilian traffic and, consequently, a decrease in police patrols. This has also led to the relocation of the border station that previously controlled access to the Omega-11 system to another position.

Up to this point, there was nothing unusual. With the Strausberg (formerly) and the Westphalen (later) in orbit around Stuttgart, along with the SEC squadrons stationed here, security was assured.
However, with the reopening of the Jump Gate, the situation has rapidly changed. Baden Baden has found itself as the first and only outpost just this side of a system that was believed to have been reduced to atoms by an imminent supernova. It is now devoid of any military or police control and entirely at the mercy of individuals of all kinds, from rogue elements to organized pirates.

What's worse is that, despite the reopening, nothing has been done to restore the situation to the previous status quo. With the current numbers, the SEC squadrons are unable to ensure security on the planet, in orbit, and the escorting of our convoys. As long as we're talking about employee concerns, I'm sure additional financial bonuses can pacify them. But when our customers realize they're no longer safe? I assume you're all capable of doing the math and understanding the real and reputational damage we would incur. And I would like to remind everyone of the disaster in Cologne. Baden Baden cannot become the new Saarbrucken. The corpses and wreckage of my fellow citizens' ships are still in orbit, as a constant reminder.

After extensive discussions in our assembly, we have come up with three options, each necessary but individually insufficient, which the Directorate should consider for the well-being of Baden Baden and its employees:

1. Contact our Starfliers associates: Obtain a detailed and up-to-date picture of what is actually happening in Omega-11.

2. Increase SEC presence: We are not just talking about fighter squadrons; we need heavy firepower. Gunboats, Corvos, bombers—until there can be a more substantial presence of military or police forces.

3. Establish contact with the Imperial Police of Rheinland (or directly with the Navy): the most challenging one. We need to involve them in our concerns. We need to emphasize that currently, the right flank of Rheinland's most important agricultural system is completely vulnerable and in direct communication with a lawless territory. The best outcome would be the relocation of the border station, although I fear that with the current issues plaguing Rheinland, it will be a long and uphill battle.

While awaiting your response from Curacao, we will continue to fulfill our duties and entertain our guests, both on the planet and on the cruise ships departing from here.

Caitlyn Cross here. As the Chairwoman of OS&C, i was indeed Ill-informed about the Situation at Baden Baden. The Report that you brought to my Table is indeed Concerning and worried me a lot. The Safety of Baden Baden is indeed an important matter and we have to make sure that the Planet and our Guests are Safe.

I am currently on Route to the Planet with 2 Squadrons of Obsidian Super Heavy Fighters and one Squadron of Touketsu Bombers. Manufactured by our Friends from the Renzu Corporation. These 3 Squadrons should be a Much Needed Reinforcement and will be Permanently Stationed at Baden Baden till the Security Threat is Solved. I have also ordered the Relocation of one of our Bustard Class Civilian Carriers to the Planet. The Ship will Secure the Tradelane that leads to the Gate. I also talked to Capitan Sam Fuentes of the OS&C|TE~Cloud.9, he and his Bustard Class Liner will Make Frequent Stops at the Plant in the next Months. The Presence of Two Bustards should deter any Wannabee Pirate from a Stupid Action. Furthermore, we will Divert the 2 New Orca Gunboats to Baden Baden that we have Bought from the Bounty Hunters as soon as they are Ready for Service. We will also Increase the Number of Spa-Sec Ground Forces on the planet, as discrete as possible of course as we don't want to disturb the guests.

I will also contact the authorities of Rheinland myself and make sure that they understand the Severe Situation that Planet Baden Baden is in now. It is also in their interest that the situation will be under control as soon as possible.

But this means that the matter of the Starfliers needs to be handled by someone else than me as I can't do all the things myself. I have Reserved 100 Million Credits for a Full Survey of the Omega 11 System and the Dangers that Lurk Within.
