I would actually say it would be insanely expensive there, but they would still produce it. At absurd prices. However, the Frenchie food (and wine) would sell like crazy in Liberty, at EVEN MORE astronomical prices. Yeehaw stereotyping! This is fun! God I don't get out enough.

Imo - the French should follow their older architecture of aircraft - vital stuff placed in the rear. Take the battleship Richelieu - it had all its main artillery in front of the bridge. (See any pic - it has two turrets, 4 guns each). Also - take a Dewoitine 520 or MS. 406 fighters - the cockpit was almost unnaturally moved towards the tail. That could get combined with the modern Mirage's lack of tail and large, delta-shaped wings, also featured in the Eurofighter and Rafale. Colours - I'd go for blue. Too bad BW ships use the skin they use, since it would match perfectly. Maybe something darker with the tricouleour/Fleur de Lys painted on the wings.

I think we're forgetting that the French are angry at their Alliance "brothers". I doubt they'll be lawful, much less willing to trade their food. They may become a new house, but they might also wage mass war on everybody... But that'd just mess with everything. Igiss is being sneaky right now...
