I would blame the people who hire them instead.

No, Zapp, you are wrong.
You could have gotten the same weapons from the IMG and you'd be perfectly fine to use them.
However, mixing them with Del Cids would be wrong, and still is wrong even though CR granted the weaponry.
Why? Because it says on those guns it's IMG tech, not Colonial.
Same way you could acquire Disinfectors from GC/BD on your Bretonian templar, even though they are not red to you, you wouldn't be able to use them with Bretonian tech.

@ those complaining about our diplomacy.
We are mercenaries. Not diplomats. Our role play isn't to have a nice shiny diplomatic dossier. Our role play is to kill targets designated by those who pay us. If you have issue with the actions of the factions who hire us, take it up with them; not us.
Don't confuse the reputation sheet with a diplomatic relation. Are our rep sheets a mess? You be they are. Its almost impossible to manage our rep sheet. I use multiple ships as a means to try to manage them, and as said numerous times before part of the official bid is to acquire a way to manage our rep sheets if possible.

How or why did the CR give out tech in the first place? Was it an official tech request thread, or just directly to the Reavers?
Red cells aside, why in the world did the admins allow a faction with no tech rights to hand out tech?
