When he died, I encouraged myself to continue his legacy. And, I also wanted to be friends with Kishiro, but not working in Kishiro, because I'm not handy in technological stuff.

Reasons for choosing GMG|: I like it in the fields where the GMG work, well, unless if you're talking about volatile gasses. The people of GMG seem close to me, in fact, the GMG cause is in my blood.

Background:

Born to a family of Kusari ancestry, Samuels is a freelancer who has spent most of his life living in Planet Erie, from birth to his present position as operator of a small private gas mining company. He has managed to buy a mining ship from all the credits he has saved doing frequent trading runs between Erie and Manhattan (commisioned by Liberty Ale). As such, he has gained little combat experience from some skirmishes with liberty rogue pirate squads trying to grab his shipments of Liberty Ale (those pricks). He personally pilots his own ship with regular mining missions in a nearby gas field on the Penn system. Eventually he read one of those GMG recruitment postings in Erie. After spending many days contemplating about his future, he finally decided to embrace his Kusari roots and join an organization with strong influences in the Gas mining sector.
