My father was a salesman. As was his father. Our family wasn't that successful in business, but we still got some luck from time to time. Because of all that hard work, we were able to afford some real estate on Planet Honshu. Now my father wants me to continue our dynasty while he's trying to establish local businesses on the planet. But I have ambitions of my own. I want to be a part of something bigger. Just being another salesman isn't enough. Also, the times are desperate, the empire is not in the best shape, space is no safe place, and a lone adventurer is in greater danger. But when I saw one of those Samura convoys, at that exact moment, I saw the future I wanted to achieve. I saw the way to follow. The way to become a small yet valuable part of the force that can change the tide and help not only myself but the whole Kusari Empire achieve the greatness and prosperity it deserves.
