Is this sarcasm? Aoi are one of the Wilde factions.

Brace for Lyth nitpicking about the difference between wilde and wild without e, even when its totally besides the point and both names are equally stupid.

Thund it's Wild now not Wilde
Get with the times Tongue

For clarification (At least when I left Aoi), Wild is a normal term used to represent infected humans no matter if theyre Rheinic, Gallic, Libertonian, Bretonian Kusarian etc.

Last time I checked, they had 3 subdivisions:

-Aoi Valkyrie (Rheinland subdivision)
-Aoi Voile (Gallic subdivision)
-Aoi Iseijin (Kusarian subdivision)

The most important of those in the discussion is the Aoi Valkyrie, which became a subdivision/was absorbed into Aoi when Das Wilde lost officialdom, along with D9 which I have no clue how it got absorbed in but thats a story for another time.

Calling ships which present Rheinic/Omega-like traits (Hessian, Rheinic, Corsairs?, Unioner etc. ships and guns) Wilde is not wrong.
Wilde is also used to describe any infected cell in a Rheinlander slang. Wilde in german means wild, duh.

It depends on the context really, for example (given that 90 percent of my characters are rheinlanders) I have a tendency to call it Wilde.
Its not wrong to call them Wilde at all, nor Wild, context-dependant

I highly doubt Corsairs would enter the Aoi Valkyrie sub-division since they're hispanic. But that's just me. Anyway.

Pretty much that, though Wilde is a touch case, reason why some people prefer being called Wild, not Wilde.

Bruh they are around the Omegas, a lot, and they have to go in some subdivision. Afaik there's no hispanic division yet.
Valkyrie includes Omegas and Rheinland
thats all i wanted to say

"Wilde" is stupid because it basically means "savages" in German and therefore hardly related to anything the nomad-controlled Rheinlanders were.

"Wild" is stupid for the same reasons.

"Infected" is stupid nomads aren't a fricking virus.

Proposed possible replacement newspeak terms:

- "The possessed" is what anti-nomad humans would call them
- "The enlightened" is what they would call themselves (entering the mindshare gives eternal life and the ability to see / live in the past, the future, parallel universes, and various places other nomads are/were/will be/could be in)

Technically speaking, parasitosis is considered an infection.

Following your own way of thinking:
"Possessed" is stupid nomads aren't fricking demons.
"Enlightened" gives positive connotations and would not be used by those who are fighting against nomads.

I see no problems with "the wild" bcs it is simply a nickname. Many peoples and phenomena throughout history were named with weird words and those stuck anyway.
