Discovery 4.86 General Bugs - airage - 01-01-2012
I don't know if anybody experienced this problem before me,
but seems to me that my only Order character that survived "Minor to Mu transport",
have some bad reputation issues.
Although my reputation towards order shows maximum green, i can't buy anything from any order base, neither take a job. I though of a bribe, but there is no one.
Funny thing is, when i go to bar all the npcs are talking to me as if I'm their best friend but, in space all
order bases are green but still when I want to buy something it shows "you have to be on a friendlier terms to buy this".
It's a little bit annoying so I hope it will be solved in future;)

Random Peace of information.
With all the issues i was having i made my own server to play with the new toys, since discovery servers are unplayable for me.
Awesome Cloak guys, love the concept.
No idea how to make the jumpdrive work.
I quickly got tired of playing with myself error free so i went back and read many pages of this forum and started hacking in players ships and locations and docking.
On my local server i have not managed to re-create the crashes.
I was running a vanilla discovery server, using IonCross to hack me into places to buy the ship combo's (DSAM Dosn't work on my pc)
Don't know if that is any help. Just found it random.
Local server
Ping 4ms Fluct 0% Loss 0% Lag 0%
I played around some more from lost battle cruiser making different ships and weapons docking and undocking many times, killing everything i found no issues, then... All of a sudden i could not dock/undock on my own local server.
I Removed all weapons and it went back to working (Admin cannnons) i put weapons back on and it wouldn't work. I ran ioncross and it said "Corrupted Character"
I Automatically "Fixed" the corrupted character (Ended up in new tokyo with civilian LF) flew back to the "lost battlestar" and started playing around again with the ships and weapons docking/undocking/cloaking with no issues whatsoever.
If this information can prove useful in anyway im glad, If you require more information just ask.
I know its stink, but im sure glad everybody is finally having these issues, and not just me.

Not sure if this has been posted, but:
Docking an LABC on Planet Manhattan using the mooring fixture causes me to CTD, and it may or may not also crash the server. When I logged back in both times, it returned me to the previous base I had been on, which was Norfolk Shipyard. I'm not sure if this is an issue with all ships, or just capital ships, or just the LABC, and I'm not sure if it happens on all planets.
EDIT: The same thing just happened to me when I tried to dock with Newark.

Tradelane visual bug doesn't affect the game in an other way than..visual.
I keep crashing every time I try to dock West Point.

Whenever I fly on straight from Omicron91 to crete, FL crashes. Maybe not everytime, but i believe it's bug with NPCs around Crete.
Also, seems whenever someone docks or undocks in Honshu - server crashes.
And then something odd about nova and Hessian BS - Nova hits shield well, but seem like doing no damage to the hull. Even if double nova hits tiny shield or one nova hits directly to hull (snac deshielded it). Snac damage feels as it should both on shield and hull.
Also, it seems FL often crashes when docking Slave Liner on Crete.
Also, in addition, maybe you can add Salamanka mark 1 gun on Cadiz? Correo likes to lose guns after 40 bots.
P.S.: FL means my game, Server means server.

Navy Missions on the battleship mississippi in Texas send you on an endless loop with broken wavepoints.
You can't abort the missions either.
CTD undocking from Missi in Texas with an LABC. Had libert tansport NPCs and an LNS that I didn't see what ship type it was.

Hm...My FL Crashes all the times i try to use fast dock on crete with Bomber/Correo xD But it docks.
Also, FL crashes when i respawn in crete
