Discovery 4.86 General Bugs - Gentlefood - 01-01-2012
Minor Bug(s):
Docking on Wuppertal Refinery in Koeln with a Train, and I assume any ship larger than a freighter, is a poor experience.
The docking camera is positioned behind the station and as such I didn't even realize I was stuck the first time and simply thought the server had crashed.
While docking the ship gets caught on part of the station /stuck-ing will 'fix' it but you then proceed to ram the station with your ship until you manage to slide up it far enough to dock.
Also, as far as I can tell there is only one 'mooring' dock point because I always seem to dock using that one.
Docking on Isehara Refinery is also buggy and you can get stuck in a docking 'loop' as my Train attempted to fly under the station to get to the mooring point on the top. This caused the ship to repeatedly crash into one of the support struts and turn around to try again (Using the exact same pathing and crashing into the strut again).
Took about 12 repeats of this before my ship managed to clear the strut.
Aet: Ticketed this.
Waypoints also seem to be buggy often not working at all, and when they do 'work' simply directing me into the systems star. Which is somewhat funny.

I was surprised by a graphic glitch last night. Wondered what was that about. When I was in Omicron Minor and getting closer to Toledo my screen suddenly turned crazy and I saw odd stuff. That was when I entered the lava asteroid field around Toledo. It was also getting worse the closer I got...
Did that at first with an Osiris and then with a light fighter.

Can't do the mission.

Crashed almost every time I've tried to dock with Battleship Prox in a Legate.
Also crashed twice, once when docking and once when undocking at Crete.
Edit: Client crash, not server.:)

Im starting to get sick of playing Disco tbh 4.86 is just full of bull**** and no one is replying to our problems no devs no admin nothing. So yeh *** playing disco for a month Im sick of it
Aet: Noone's compelling you to play. Solving crashbugs takes time. I suppose you don't know anyone well-versed in debugging Win32 applications? Thought so...

I think the server running at all is a good indication of someone working on it.

There appears to be a blank faction when you use IONCROSS and edit the savefile for all systems and factions.
Try overwriting your IONCROSS install with the config files provided in the IONCROSS folder delivered with the mod.
