VR was rather taking issue with the Mollys for charging an exorbitant fee (50 million a month, wtf) in order to proceed with humanitarian efforts on Gran Canaria without being hindered by the Corsair-Hessian kerfuffle in O-7.

That's basically a fancy way of instructing someone, their faction, and their allies to perform self-sodomy if I ever saw one.

Didnt you think of just paying 10 mill for the relief ship you wanted to pass?

Rather than demanding they let your whole faction past for the price of one ship?

Yes, and they may be a troll group, but they've done a service to the community by showing the admins they need to make proper rules for bases.

+1 and that post to the admins was hilarious.

VR and the SCRA were complaining to the Mollys about them ignoring their requests to pass the coin, and all the time the Mollys had already told them they could just buy a license!

Its funny how threads go.
This One went from sanshun threads to the bass hunters to the coin.

Dont post in the sanction thread unless you've got diplomatic immunity

Thing is, Coin has RP. The base hunters should hunt no-Rp bases which don't have a reason to be there. My question is: Do the base hunters want to reduce the number of Oorp stations (a good cause), or just make people quit the game after weeks of effort and time just go up in smoke due to a few people dicking around. I really kinda want to know a bit more about the base hunters before I make any judgment on that though.

Just out of interest I clicked on 4 random picture in the Bass Hunters Hall of Fame and did a forum search for the base name. All four had forum posts linked to RP. I suppose I may have just got the only 4 by lucky chance.

It doesn't make RP sense for most of my characters, though, and that licensing thread is iRP. That and, even if the licensing was ooRP, I wouldn't be paying the Mollys 10m per character of mine just to use a jumphole that's been there for years.

Generally I just blaze through Londonderry instead. Doesn't take that much longer, and it's not like Mollys have enough activity to actually police their guard system. Still, it would be nice to be able to go to and from Bretonia to O-49 without the choice of running a weapon platform gauntlet or a guard system.

Then again, that is the whole point of the Coin's existence.
