So instead of telling you what you would love to hear, I will just tell you how things are.

If the person was mentally unstable enough to leave the server because of some pixels going poof, I think it is safe to assume that it was for the best. Disco is probably the most harsh community I have ever been a part of and there is no point of being here if you cannot deal with the fact that some people will not like you. I myself have long stopped giving two sticks about what people thought of me. I tried to keep friends with the admin team, people like Joe, Exile, Treewyrm and others, having to change my opinions just to be in the ''cool crowd'' so to speak.
No, I would rather play and let people cator to my whims for a change.
You guys could do nice siege of something big and create nice fight. Go siege Krupp depot, or Goldern Coin, or Puerto del Sol.
Why would we siege our own bases?
Who cares if they level 4 and cant be destroyed?
We have taken out core 4 bases. Quite a few, actually.
Why care for actual destruction of base?
Because that is the point of shooting it in the first place?
Care for fun you will get from the fight. Care for all those nice bluemessages. Hell, you might even actually destroy core4 a base if you 23.
But what do you do? Hunting unshielded bases of newbies and claim it was done to show people that PoBs are group effort.
And it works. The remaining bases are being supplied day and night because people are worried that they might lose them. Success, if you ask me.
Same as going and kill ateists to show that God exists.

Senseless actions for senseless goals. And they way you actually deal with that. Admins put yor ship in bastilia. You accepted that lesson? No. You said ''Who cares for those ships. We can always make new.'' Only for that senstence alone Id ban all your accounts if Id was admin.
I viewed the sanction as the result of a mistake on our part that we had to resort to shooting the TBH during the siege. Well, okay, that happens, no reason to start crying over what has been done. If they chose to keep the ship in bastille as punishment, I would not even bat an eye. Apart from that specific encounter with having to shoot TBH with Corsair IDed legates, nothing else really has been done wrong.
And Im sure you wont bother to read or reply to my post with really sensible and mature words. I hope that at least someone from your 23 guys will read it and underrstand that this aint right and quit your group, like I quit CCCP| in my days.
Or you can join ours and see why it is still alive in the first place.

In logical roleplay, any faction should shoot any ship belonging to one of their diplomatic enemies. If they don't, it better be with a good reason, otherwise it's not roleplay, but a chatroom with a space combat simulator. Roleplay is (contrary to popular believe) not the act of sitting down and having a teaparty with anything you run into in space.
It's why I highly dislike seeing a whole cluster of ships talking with no worries ever around Java or Newark. It just doesn't make even a slight bit of sense in roleplay (there being a constant looming threat in space), yet they behave as if it's their profession. In reality, those pilots would dock and have their conversation in a pub, which is where Forum watering holes come in so usefully.

I suggest you learn the difference between an ingame group, as in, a bunch of player characters flying the same colors and a PLAYER GROUP, which are just a bunch of people playing together. There is not ingame bass hunter group. There is no such faction. There are no tags, there are no IDs, there are no naming conventions. The Bass hunters are a group of PLAYERS with independent CHARACTERS playing with other PLAYERS.
Or do you mean to say you expect everyone to be in character and in roleplay on skype? That would be an odd sight.

One crucial ingredient that has been airbrushed : They are corsairs,that is - shooting stuff is RP on itself.
Look I don't like some of the stuff they do either - much like I hate being pirated by pepe from a mutual faction, but I stick to my char and rp and I don't whinge about it, I just accept it

Most of our group are players wishing to actually put their big caps to work, be it by killing bases or the people coming to protect them. A siege can be broken by a couple of bombers, literally. A couple of bombers are enough to cause inconvenience to base siegers.
Instead of whining about the Bass Hunters, come shoot us. Bring caps, bring snubs, at least there is some goddamn activity.
Imagine our sieges as quick events. Come, bring a few ships and pew away, it is that easy.

Point me to a couple of groups, whose ONLY motivation is roleplay. Instead of:
A) PVP relief
B) Money making
C) Both above.
I am sure there ARE groups focused on RP elements, but everyone has their own agenda. We just decided to place ours in front of the RP sign, instead of trying to hide it behind it.

Then perhaps it's high time the rest of the community started whining (god darn it man). Honestly, Sindroms, creating a group because you want the community to go "your way" is slightly over the top. And Tell, I agree that if there is 100% provable Rp then they should exist, but right now it's not going on.
Corsair Rp is not shoot everything in sight. Ask anyone of the Corsair elders or Corsair official factions.
Personally, this entire thread should be flooded. If it's an Oorp faction then it can hardly be considered an Inrp unofficial now, can it?
If you find POB's "annoying", then tough. Destroy them with InRp chars. Using GRN caps to destroy GRN approved stations on the trolly grounds of "space pollution" is NOT an InRp use of chars, so don't argue use use your chars in an InRp fashion.

No, you misread that I think. Or I worded it a bit incorrectly. This is not my group, I am a part of it and the one posting all of the things in it. I am currently the person who actually bothers to reply to some of the more valid questions. The rest of the people involved simply could care less of your opinions towards them and just want to have fun.
As for me, I simply said the ''Your way'' thing as an example. I could care less for POBs, I just want to grab a beer, play with friends, and just have fun in the evenings after work. Just like many other Bass Hunters, I just happen to have a cap gathering dust, I like shooting things and want to do that in a group of people.
EDIT: Actually, I might as well be the leader/diplomat guy, whatever you wish to call it. I am not afraid to take the flack, since as stated before, I could really care less of what you guys think about me. I stopped caring quite a while ago.
