Except for doing such is not profitable, as it would result in people not bothering paying, since they know their base would be wasted nonetheless.

I'm just waiting for the inevitable "base hunters hunters" group, whereby they get bomber ganked every time they try to take down a pob.

so answer my question
if someone wants to build a base and gets the nod in a system from the local authorities/bad guys whoever, and starts a base, and if the base does not affect or should i say make hostile actions as in shooting at the locals because its not close enough to the lanes/gates/routes to shoot them, and then if he is the only one that supplies it for upgrades and to keep it running
you and your group will go kill it?

If it has an approval, then it will most likely be a lawful base.
If it will be built, it will catch the attention of criminals no doubt.
If we have the necessary IDs in that area, for example blood dragons in Kusari (Since they are the only criminals there with an access to a battleship), we will keep an eye on the base. If the person is smart, he will have gotten a pretty good group of people together to not only build, but also defend the base. We will make sure that building a pob is not as simple as entering a code and plonking it down. No. It will be shot. It will be defended. And if it will not be defended or supplied, it will die.
EDIT: I think it should be noted, that we do not usually make ships just to take out specific POBs in some area. Nor do we usually plan on which bases to take out in advance. It is more like a player noticed a base being out of supplies and he would simply drop something along the lines of ''Hey, X is dying, anyone got a character in Kusari to help it along?'' and just see if they can do something about it.

Hone, we pay our, say, Liberty bounty boards with money we make on, say, Kruger characters. Or piracy. How is that different?
We are just saying that by paying us money, we could reconsider some RP we might do on the server, so to speak.

There are already persons who hunt bass hunters, it are people who defend bases, mostly Indie Liberty Lawful ships.
