And then, most of disco was disqualified. Dark day for the Empire.

Folks, I talked to those helping make the event and admins, and we think it might be a good idea to postpone the tournament until the cheating and hacking is definitely patched. We had a new influx of hackers this weekend and many are worried that the tournament will just get flooded. In order to keep the Club fun to everyone, we are postponing it for September 7. *If* the hackings have not stopped, we can either go ahead with it anyway or reeschedule it again. I'll keep you all posted.

Time, as does the rules, remains the same as originally announced.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Alright, thanks for the warning.

As far as I am concerned going by the fact that non participants who might disturb the tournament could be banned I shall not be entering conneticut on any day that its held. On the basis - 1) I don't want to get banned 2) I actually prefer rp 3) I only enter conn to practice

if the event is postponed to the 7 of september I cannot participate because i dont have internet from the 5 till the 8 of september

We're not worried about random people crashing the event, since they can be reasoned with, and if not, banned. We are worried with hackers that don't care about anyone else in this server but their own belly buttons. They log in with a starflier fitted with nomad BS guns meant to be shooting everyone, then get banned, but manage to log again with an unbanned account and repeat. If we wait a couple of weeks or more to patch the anticheat system and stop the hacking from happening in the first place, so everyone can *really* have fun with this tournament, then let's do that and have no undue fussing.

Fair enough. Avoiding Conn on the day to avoid trouble will still work though.
