They lose their ship, cargo, guns, other modules installed, and if they're stupid enough all of their implants (2 hours of grinding for most players to buy em back).

I tried Eve and disliked it enough that I left without getting as far as being destroyed. Each to their own.

For me it was the fact that my game was downloaded still. But now my comp is gone.

Well, the RP. Last time I quit I went to WoT and got addicted to games such as MW3 and black ops, but I quickly found I missed the RP, and started getting bored with not having any before a fight.

The awesome people I met, the Junker Marauders, The Council, and groups like them.

I enjoyed every minutes there, even pirate encounters. (Even the rare times when I jump into a transport.)

I love disco's RP, PVP and... the people there who caused me some nice moments. (sun)

Also, my charity. I think we need at least one guy who make this happen - Give newcomers a chance, a better start. Big Grin

Quitting? What are you talking about?

As I sit here pondering the answer to this question with a mouthful of steamed rice, staring at the tiny fifteen inch 1024x768 screen attached to the support bench computer at work (it's a great place to eat because I can enjoy chinese food with one hand and nuke hard drives with the other), I had to ask myself: Why did I quit in the first place?

I'm not sure. I think it was some people really pissing me off.

I like the atmosphere. I like most of the people. I enjoy the game, as terrible as I am at PvP in it (if you thought I was bad in a battleship, you should see me in a light fighter!).

I'm here to write. I'm here to enjoy writing with other people. I'm here for the collaboration. I'm here because I want to do something that'll have a lasting effect on the game.
