I'm not going to say Liberty is draining away all the activity from the Omicrons, but I will say that I do agree Corsairs have been treated badly.
As a faction itself, there's not a lot for it to do. Mission removal and buffer systems being the final nail in the coffin.
"Why bother pirating as a Corsair, when I can just play any other pirate faction, have a better ZoI, sometimes better tech and a lot more things to pirate/fight?"
"Why bother smuggling as a Corsair, when I can smuggle as something else and make more money via the Outcast smuggling route?".
I have a Corsair BS. Since missions have gone, It's been left to gather dust in conn because there's nothing else for me to do with it. I've noticed that generally, the amount of Corsair dreads on the server has decreased substantially since .87, the amount of people selling legates has also increased.
Screw all this taboo and uncertainty around missions, they generated activity for Corsairs + factions. It was fun to see an Outcast or Hessian walk into Gamma to try and ruin my day, and then see Corsairs running to my aid to push out the invaders.
Any activity is good activity.

How many times you tried to go into Pennsylvania (Zoners even has a base in this system, right?) and say to people passing around "hey, don´t you want to go to Omicrons. Beatiful worlds with lot of adventures. Go with us Zoners on our way back to Omicron-74 and you will see yourself!
And you can even have fun protecting newbies in their level 25 ships on the way through Corsair and especially nomad spawning territory. This is what you (or faction you are in) can do.
Yes, in a nutshell thats exactly what people should tell themselves. And saying "Player list" as if its a new thing to anyone doesn't impress me. How else would you get 30 people in Liberty? And I just want to know exactly why did it mention 74, because I don't like people attacking me personaly, for something so fundemntal as this. If someone doesn't want to leave liberty, thats fine with me, but the level of arrogance that is perfected by these people, who every so often try to meddle other places that they almost near- dont visit them is amazing. You see, I have just about as every faction on my account list, and though I prefer living as a zoner I am perfectly fine to sacrifice my personal wishes, just to avoid seeing great factions such as the benitez to simply go away, because mainly people such as yourself are more focused on replying to my thread, in the attempt to drive me and those who might feel like me, away from the issue.
Stop being so personally touchy, man. I mentioned O-74 because when I check player list, I see often some people there. When Order people or Khara are not ingame, O-74, Gamma and Alpha are only Omicrons with players, simple as that. It has nothing to do with ZA issues, I don´t care about it.

This has been done, and will not be repeated, since restarts are now exist.
This aint vanilla and the primary focus is not lolberty, regardless of how many people you seem so fun to walk with. Liberty by all accounts doesnt lose anything, in any update, it doesnt suffer anything as any other house, and it has the majority of people because its the central point from which oorp is widely accepted, and infact embraced. So, dont tell me to visit your beloved place anymore again, instead ; move yourself and quit telling me that I should be doing these things, nothing comes in foot.

Anyway. I really do think the Omicrons need more people...and better RPing ones as that >_>
I went out there for a while and only got ONE person to RP with me...the other 12 just ignored me....and that's sad...I have noticed more and more people out there NOT RPing (a official Order even ignored my Nomad when I RPed....then did so with someone else that came along) that's why I don't really go out there :/
Personally I think Bretonia gets the most/best RP....I just wish it was the Omicrons ._.

^I accept,I havent been long on the server,but from my opinion on Omicron Eta,it was one of the best warzones and the only one for the Sairs Vs OC.I have been playing since 4.84 and this place is usually full of Sair Osiris,OC bases and what not?(all this in the OpenSP,then I am tempted to think that on the server,Eta must have been one of the most active war zones.)I would love to pilot my Sairs and OC ships in that kind of a system.

That's not a good attitude to have. Sorry if you've grabbed the wrong end of the stick, but moping around and being upset about things doesn't do anything for the community, or yourself personally.

Delete that stupid Conn. Almost every time i look at online player list i see more people in Conn than in Omicrons. The better way to practise PvP is via some events.

Blah blah ... Blame the admins, blame the devs. Blame everything and everyone else. You attitude is obviously one of the reasons no one wants to roleplay with you.
Now I'm not a fan of the slightly excessive buffer systems that have been implemented recently, but it is probably another ten minutes flying time in all, no big problem to those actually interested in truly roleplaying the two major Omicron factions.
And to be honest, Liberty, especially New York, has been the busiest place on the server throughout it's entire history ... Nothing has changed.
A few people ought to be looking at themselves first, before apportioning blame on the rest of the community.

I'm confused. Aren't you the one telling everyone they should be in the Omicrons instead of Liberty?
People will follow the things that interest them. If people found the Omicrons more worthwhile, more exciting, more interesting, then they would go there. Why don't YOU do what YOU can or are willing to do to help make that happen? Whining about Liberty isn't the solution.
