RE: Is it our duty to report people? Should it? - chase.way - 02-17-2014 Yes, but apparently we don't share the same level of patience and calmness ![]() RE: Is it our duty to report people? Should it? - sindroms - 02-17-2014 What does patience have to do with it, seriously though. RE: Is it our duty to report people? Should it? - chase.way - 02-17-2014 Well understanding that someone is new to the server and you trying to teach him, giving him answers to questions, explaining what was wrong rather then just SS-ing then reporting = patience ? RE: Is it our duty to report people? Should it? - Jansen - 02-17-2014 If you can solve an issue with another player without having to send us a report, please do it. If thats not possible, then let us deal with it. RE: Is it our duty to report people? Should it? - sindroms - 02-17-2014 Yes, but only those wishing to learn will gain something from that effort. Those are the people we need to keep, sure. What about the others then? RE: Is it our duty to report people? Should it? - Highland Laddie - 02-17-2014 Jansen already answered you, sindroms. Quit beating the dead horse. RE: Is it our duty to report people? Should it? - sindroms - 02-17-2014 He did not answer anything that we do not already know. This is not about who has the power do to it. It is about who has the will to do it. People cannot be bothered to report people. Though whining about the state of things, when it comes to the decline in RP quality during the last two months is easy. Start reporting people. That is what I mean. Just start reporting people. Well, I haven't met anybody not wiling to learn, but I usually educate people doing wrong things, those who swear at me I just ignore. I just can't be bothered by petty insults which we all hear trough our life many times. But well, people should probably report them. I don't thou, but I almost stopped playing at all anyway so I'm not really useful in this thread, so go report people, people ! RE: Is it our duty to report people? Had 2 encounters the first one was with excellent RP and fun for both sides. The second one was tragic- involved a newbie that OORPed the whole time, the worst part was that then some official faction member came and OORPed together with the newbie. Still I could reported both of them loosing 10-15 min of my life since it was long RP session from my side and they would had got warnings. I prefer to invest the said 15 min to encounter someone else instead. If the admins were a bit more severe to the official faction members then it would be worth it to report them. I have only ever really taken the time to submit a report of someone for a PvP related offence which has directly affected me or a group I was playing with or a player which has spouted verbal abuse. If people type OORP or have no ID or something like that I usually just don't bother because it hasn't directly affected me. I just go on with playing the game and forget about them. I'm honestly not bothered enough to spend 10 minutes carefully copy pasting the rules and typing out a sanction template just because someone types "lol" or an emoticon in the chat - I'm not that hardcore. |
