The AI Cruiser is another good one. It has great maneuverability and good firepower.

I like the Gallic cruiser and the Storta, since those are the only ones I have tried here. I have tried the Praefect too, but its not that good.

If Obstinate still same, as in 86, you are doomed, if you solo on it. I RPed it something like Acclamator ship from SW- crapy for space combat, but nice as ground forces carrier and deployer.
Storta.................... sweet memories.....my first capital ship, back in 85.
Well, this ship is nice, but you need to know how to handle it, which means, some practice in TS is necessary.
Can't say about Obstinate, but with Storta, you can find more action and encouters.
