Epic.

Freelancer Account ID Generator v2.1 - Kazinsal - 02-17-2010

Anyone have any questions or comments? Feature requests?

I'll shoop through how multiple-account ADFs work and see if I can piece something together to generate multiple accounts. Not that you crazy people need 100 blank ship slots... do you?:P

I have promoted the two of you to demigod status. I have ordered OSI to begin worshiping you as demigods. If you do not receive two dimes and a nickel along with 28 virgins by tonight please contact me.

Freelancer Account ID Generator v2.1 - Akura - 02-17-2010

Works perfectly for me, Kudos to you good sir.

I have heard a story of someone making one and getting someones account.

Infact I have someones account :/ Saw five characters on it, traced it through the faction roster and found out who they were.

The odds of getting someone else's account with this are just about the same as creating a new Windows account. Since you can generate them faster, though, it appears higher.

Cannon, Kazinsal.

You are epic.
period.

Thanks for this great addition! I always wanted this thing to be next to my FL exe.

Yes, um - that was an earlier test version which reliably generated the same sequence of accounts over and over. It was never meant to find its way into the wild but it did.

Kaz...
Cannon...

I know you're both dudes but...

I LOVE YOU!

I'm sensing a theme here.

Any chance you can talk to Korrd and get this built into his account manager?

Simple - you got the top line which goes at the start of every .ADF file ("DB Version: 101"), linebreak, name of an account, linebreak, the account ID, linebreak, account ID signature (which I believe is just an MD5 hash of the account ID - not sure though), ANOTHER linebreak, "<COMMENTARIO>", "</COMMENTARIO>", linebreak, name of second account and so on.

As for feature requests... How about appending accounts straight to Accounts.dat and into FAM's memory (If it's loaded up of course)? That way you don't have to import them or anything... They just show up straight away.

@Cannon: Made it's way into the wild? You told me I could give that one out. -_-

Yeah, I gathered that.

Might do that this weekend. Could be fun.

I'm not dating Bob, but that's something for flood.

So, yeah, I'll be coding 1.2 over the weekend. Current plans for features include adding a proper menu bar, some options, and, possibly, Alex's suggestion.

PS: Any chance this could be stickied?
