Relay Origin: Holmfirth Base, Manchester

Startin' transmission.

Brothers 'an sisters, I wanted to bring to yer attention... Well, this.

This is a base firin' on Gaians only fifteen klicks from Holmfirth, I measured. That's loike... A battleship's worth of static defenses around th'two adjacent modular bases.

We gonna do something about this? Can we do something about this?

Relay Origin: Torshavn Space Port, Cambridge

Hopin' this goes through, unlike the other hails and transmissions I kept bouncin' off Torshavn.

A bunch too many Gaian critters've been hauled off in the direction of Rheinland. There's no large-scale poaching occurring on Gaia herself, especially not since the Invasion; so I'm guessing that Planetform must still have a supply of our friends on Harris in some lame-brained attempt to cross-fertilize them on that rock.

Anyway, did what I could. Had to put a lot of our friends out of their misery in a mercy-killing; kept pleading for a transport from Torshavn but none were availible. Better a quick death than slow starvation or... whatever is goin' on in Rheinland. Attached information should be finished loadin' by now.

Four transports disabled. Four. I may be a pretty damn good hunter, but I'm gonna need some of my mates to help me get Gaia's children back home, or at least to Torshavn where we can facilitate their return. Poor things must be scarred for life. The, uh... The survivors, that is.

Since yesterday I was too lazy to fill a report I will write it now. Flora and I met in Omega-5 and she agreed to be my guide in the Omegas. I'm not very familiar with that region and now with all the activity in the area, I felt that I needed to know a few about those systems. I updated my nav computer with regular jump holes, stations and other important "landmarks". The most interesting system we had visited was Omega-58. The wikisirius had little to no information about the system. I can imagine that not many people managed to come out of there in one piece, mostly because of the radiation that's consuming nanobots at an accelerated rate. We found several ship wrecks and from one of them, Flora managed to collect a prototype weapon called Twilight. After we got out of that system, we needed a few repairs and we docked on Casablanca in Omega-47. The technicians worked fast because we paid them a small fortune and we continued our trip and arrived in Omega-49. Here I found a nice ship that I will want to buy from the zoners. It's called Marauder. I don't know it it will be of any use. I'm still thinking about its usefulness.

Anyway, after that, we decided to go back home and we jumped to Poole. This is where things got interesting. We intercepted a... a very strange pilot. He was flying a Hessian Thor, he was displaying a BPA IFF and he claimed to be a Freelancer, or at least that's what his card was suggesting. We were intrigued and started asking questions. But the guy man was not going to answer us. Instead, he opened fire on me and ran to Omega-49. We followed him and disposed of its abnormal vessel.

Next, moved via Cambridge and after splitting for a few minutes, Flora announced me that she could use a hand in putting down a trader. I rushed to Omega-3 where the battle already started and destroyed the trader soon after.

We remained there, hoping to catch some wildlife smugglers or something but... instead of that, we were hailed by an IMG patrol and a freelancer in a liberty gunboat. They asked us to back down because they had a large convoy ready to move through the gate. We decided not to risk it and allowed them to pass. The convoy was filled with ores and even if we wanted to do something, there was little our two ships could do against all those transports and their escorts.

And the final encounter from yesterday... a BAF ship belonging to the 13th battlegroup decided to play with us. It was a bad idea as he soon realized.

Hey!

Well, yeah, finishing my studies, final exams are coming... So I've decided to take a leap into Omega 11.
Not much happend, but I've met a quite nice miner and asked him few questions about the area.
It's kinda pretty, but radiation is almost melting your ship in some places.

I didn't redeived any donations on this one, but I've spotted a quite nice looking mining spot DHC seems to be using.
I'm attaching the logs below.

Just saying, but I think that these grounds maye prove to be quite... "financially helpful" to our cause.

And now, meh, I'll get back to studying...

Clean skies.

I knew it! IMG is not to be trusted! Actually, they must be attacked from now on. As much as possible. Their transports must be burned. Oh and Flora... you'll love this, sis.

So, here's what happened. I was outside the freeport in Omega-3, chatting with a new Gaian pilot when this idiot from the armed forces stumbles upon us and starts invading the audible universe with her bullcrap. Phonic pollution, nothing more and nothing less... After that she spots a Corsair and goes after him. I couldn't care less but then, the rookie finds a Wildlife smuggler. We both ask him to stop and drop the cargo. He refuses. We start shooting, he moves towards that IMG base. The base opens fire on us!!! That's the IMG base, Flora! We manage to finish off the smuggler before he moors with the station, we save as many animals as possible and then we try to escape but nooo... the idiot army is chasing us and engages us both. I fight her when boom IMG decides to send their own fighter to the fight. That's not all! Some order group called O'Rhu acts at the orders of BAF and declares their intention of helping IMG. Ha fraking ha! That's your lovely IMG and Order, Flora! I told you they are bad but nooo...

Some BAF guy said something about a Nomad threat. I guess that's why Order was there. Anyway... I'll engage IMG as normal targets from now on.
Destroyed units:
Theobald.vom.Tayernland (Series "DL" Border Worlds Transport)

Funds/supplies collected:
2 Gaian Wildlife cages

Lost units:
N/A (but my ship was badly damaged)

Well met, champions of Gaia.

This is my first report being submitted as one of the Watch, and it fills me with pride to be able to take my place among you.
Right..... onto the report at hand. After a routine patrol from Torshavn, I picked up a signiture on scanners. Moving to intercept, I had a DSE camera piloted by a freelancer. Stopping it in it's track, I scanned it's cargo... prisoners!

I couldn't bring myself to destroy the vessel knowing that there were, well from my point of view, innocents on board. He complied with my demand to transfer his cargo. However, the pilot.... known as Stefan, explained his situation as a freelancer looking for some work, and his troubles in doing so.

A thought occurred to me.... which spun itself into a web of thought until I was sure it had to be tried. I offered him a job: bring Black Market Munitions to the Dublin system, and I would pay him £4000 a unit. He gets his kickstart fund, I get the munitions we so desperately need for trading with the Corsairs. With a stern warning not to get caught, and I threat that if he fails and gives up the plan to any authorities I'd hunt him down, he was on his way.

Thirty minutes later, lo-and-behold, the Freelancer shows up: with more cargo than expected to boot! Paying the freelancer, the crew of the Blacktide brought the crates aboard... seems the offer paid off. Leaving secure comms details with the captain, and wishing him well for business in the future.... the trip to Omicron Gamma was safe and uneventful. Saying that, Mildra was on long range comms, and it was good to catch up following the days events. I'll leave her events for her own report.

With profit in the bank, and a pilot for a new scheme completed, I returned to Torshavn upbeat and looking forward to future dealings. Perhaps it is through economic guile I can play my part in strengthening the watch and defending Gaia...

Thoughts for the future.

May the stars be with you,
Karl Jetsom

To my fellow Watchers,

I have two things of note to report.
Firstly whilst on my barge, Blacktide, I resumed communications with the freelancer from my previous report: Stefan. He is proving to be a useful ally, delivering black market munitions from house space to myself. Paying him on delivery, then making the last leg of the run is proving a good strategy for getting supplies to our bases. Islay should be stocked with weaponry for at least a month now. I plan to develop this little relationship of ours...see where it goes...

Secondly, I encountered a certain Dr.Venture, who is a Doctor of the old NGF (New Gaian Front)! It was an intriguing encounter, evading the authorities together and then raiding a Gateway vessel hauling poisonous metals through Cambridge. We discussed the plight of our causes, and found we have much in common.

I wish to ask you, my fellow watchers, shall I open a direct Comms with this NGF, and attempt to rekindle an old fellowship? My intentions are to open a diplomatic channel, where potentially, we may find strength in others as well as ourselves.

I look to hear from you,
Karl Jetsom

Hey!

Just dropping a small report from my raid at Fortitudine. Not much of an action, but the outcome was pretty... unexpected.
I'm putting the logs below, enjoy.

Short summary, as usual:

Quote:[17.04.2015 20:45:28] You have received 10.000.000 credits from BMF|Blasthole
[17.04.2015 20:47:45] You have received 3.000.000 credits from BMF|Sgt_Montana
[17.04.2015 20:43:09] BMF|Blasthole: Ah you face shining trough the front glass is enough and I see a well formed body under that suit
[17.04.2015 20:43:21] BMF|Blasthole: or flying dress or whatever that is

I'll probably have to slowly get myself ready for a short leave...

Hey Karl!

Hm... The NGF... I haven't met anyone from that group yet.
Feel free to open a comm with that "doctor Venture", just remember to hand me the acces to it as well.
We'll see where it goes...

All for now, folks.

Clean skies.
