Freelancer ID equipment - Lux - 10-04-2008 Thanks for the tip, Vincent. I was wondering how you could get a freelancer tag. As for your question about getting gear from two factions that hate each other, I think that even though you're a freelancer and that it IS possible, don't. Like it's been said before, the point isn't to get a uber PvP setup; it's to get a good setup that goes well with your RP. That's all for me. Freelancer ID equipment - VincentFerrex - 10-05-2008 Well, a good setup of codes and Debilitators never hurt anyone, except the person in your crosshairs. However, it's fine to use different faction setups, and mixed weapons. HOWEVER, yes, Tizonas and Krakens is too much. With Freelancers, it's not really a question of how OORP your weapons are, since Freelancers travel all over the place, and loot all sorts of things, but, your weapons mostly control which part of Sirius you are accepted in, RP-wise. That's mostly it, really. However, codes and Debs are relatively decent, in fact, my setup on my Freelancer Sabre is the best I've had, and no one bothers me about it, except some newbies who scan me and go "how much for ur lvl10 wep?" I didn't say I was trying to get a great PvP setup (if I did, then just ignore this) but what I was trying to say was that since the Order sells them, than they must be ok for them to use, but I guess I'm wrong. Makes you wonder how Liberty weaponry finds its way onto Toledo... Anywho, thanks for clearing that up. ' Wrote:I'm fairly sure I've posted a big response in a thread like these, but I can't find it to copy and paste. Ok I gotcha, I'm sorry if I came off as a PvP whore guys I wasn't trying to sound that way (and believe me when I say I am terrible at PvP). Also, if you find that response then please post it, it might help clear things up for other people. ' Wrote:As to the question of getting Freelancer rep: Wow! I have been wondering how to get rep with Freelancers for a while now, and this pretty much explains it perfectly! I'm going to get started on the BH missions immediately (as I have good rep with both the Zoners and BHG) so hopefully I have a good jump on the rep requirements. Thanks a lot for your help guys! I hope other Freelancers see this thread because there are a lot of good tips in here on equipment and rep setups. EDIT: Quote:Well, a good setup of codes and Debilitators never hurt anyone, except the person in your crosshairs. I have a good mix of lawful weapons on my two Freelancers, on my GB I have Liberty guns, cerbs (Rheinland guns), and Bretonian guns. On my Arwing I have Zoner and Liberty guns so I guess it makes my ships look a bit more lawful than the next guy's. I'm just going to try to keep my guns relatively the same for now because I'm sure people won't be happy with me if I'm going around NY with both lawful and unlawful guns. Freelancer ID equipment - Robert.Fitzgerald - 10-05-2008 From the other Freelancer/merc setup thread. It's a similar message to my response here already. Quote:In my opinion, Mercenaries and Freelancers have more freedom in their choice of equipment, but it still should be logical. No, I won't mention Krakens and Tizonas, as any other combination (eg Firekisses and Suncannons) would be just as "OORP". This combination of Rheinland and GC weapons is not effective in PVP, so it's not complained about.-Robert Fitzgerald Freelancer ID equipment - VincentFerrex - 10-05-2008 Also, a little warning: It takes around 70 BH missions to get Freelancer rep maxxed. Good luck with that. Freelancer ID equipment - teschy - 10-05-2008 You need to get the triple Zoner bribe from Freeport 2 - Bering, and then take bh missions.. destroy a few zoner depots.. take more bh missions.. destroy some bh guard.. eventually you'll get it. >.> Freelancer ID equipment - VincentFerrex - 10-05-2008 I tried that, takes too long, and is very hard. My way is easier, and gets me tagged faster. Freelancer ID equipment - komet - 10-05-2008 ' Wrote:From the other Freelancer/merc setup thread. It's a similar message to my response here already. Ok thanks for posting that, that's a really good guideline to go by for my Freelancers or if I create any more Freelancers. ' Wrote:Also, a little warning: Oh boy... I was wondering why after two or three missions my Freelancer rep hadn't even moved... Looks like my Freelancer GB is going to be out of town doing missions for the BH for a while. Hehe, thanks for the warning though! ' Wrote:You need to get the triple Zoner bribe from Freeport 2 - Bering, and then take bh missions.. destroy a few zoner depots.. take more bh missions.. destroy some bh guard.. eventually you'll get it. >.> I was thinking about getting another Zoner bribe but since Manchester is far away from Bering and now that I have a BH tag I don't think any pirate players will be happy with me. So for now I'm just going to hang around by Shefield (sp?) and do BH missions for a.... uhhh.... while... But thanks for the tip! |
