I am sorry if i annoyed you,however "removing" things from the game because "they make lag and i cant concentrate and shoot straight" or "they decrease fps so i cant shoot straight"...well,this aint pvp server.
If under roleplay you understand typing few lines as excuse for shooting at others,i feel sorry for you.

PvP is an integral part of this game. Get over it. You can feel all the more sorry for me.

The game/server already feel empty, reducing NPCs would do more harm than good.
Think of the consequences. Pirates would have a hard time finding NPC transports to steal cargo
from. Less or no chatter in space. Also, I think NPC presence should be increased in some areas
people rarely goto and designate them as PvE systems.
Only changes I'd like to see is: Take off CDs and thrusters off NPC cruisers and/or GBs too.

The NPC population needs to be at the same level at all times DESPITE the server load.
The flhook 'npc reduction' creates a big inbalance already.

Server had over 100 players this afternoon for a period of several hours. That's hardly an empty server.
