Hm... I suppose you have a point... I might try some other border styles, That one i used before is just easy to fit to images =P

The second one seems a little messed up, but it looks the best.

Mine were just quick metal looking effects.

With the first I can combine them as well, for something like this with an information panel on the side:

Mebbe... I don't like how they fit though.

If you could combine the left side to encompass the whole thing, still with a text area, that would be awesome.

Like... put one border side by side with the other (the left one, not the first one) and make one smaller width wise. Then put the screen in one, text in the other, and edit out the little symbol on the skinnier one.

Actually... new idea: what if it was made into an animated .gif and cycled between all the locations of the ship? That would save a -ton- of room, on top of looking cool.

So It'd look something like this:

And in that tab at the bottom right there it would say something like "Bridge". Then, a couple seconds later, the next tab up would move to the front, and the image in the left box would change to the next location on the ship.

Whatcha think about that?

EDIT:

So it'd cycle through images like this (this isnt animated, just several pictures, I cant do animated gif's with my program =(

-just now realized the text alignment on the first one is screwed up, ignore that, i can fix it later.
