I mean LD-14's destruction could also be cool RP wise for exiles. It will remind the GRN of opposition in the taus.

There's no strategic value whatsoever to targeting it though. I recently re-read the infocard to familiarize myself with what was going on out there, and it's literally just an empty husk. Bretonia evacuated what it could and then broke everything it couldn't.

All the station currently produces is Toxic Waste. Makes it more likely that it's destroyed by accident during an industrial action that was intending to reactivate it, honestly.

Either that or Gallia simply scuttling it so they don't have to bother maintaining a station that is just a drain on their resources.

While I find the idea interesting, the line "huuuuge bonus! Better than everything else!!!" always rings alarm bells.

There is a balance system in place.
All mining factions have the same amounts of bonuses in this version.

Giving one something totally unique and great creates a situation in which everybody else also can say: "Hey! I want something unique and great at a great bonus as an addon to my ID, too!".

In this case, I don't see much of a problem because BMM as well as GMS are not exactly very attractive factions for players to run to, but it opens up a direction of development that needs a closer look than "this is cool, let's do it!".

If this comes, I do explicitly not want to have ANY bonus on IMG ID. It's much too hot diplomatically. I'd rather keep my santity. Smile

All the more reason to blow it up. I don't see why devs would care given what you said. And still it would be a fun experience. While personally I'd say target glasgow, that obviously would meet much more controversy.

After reading the description again, I have to agree with Jammi here. There's no point in wasting assets attacking an empty husk.
Blowing it up by accident sounds funny for the mining factions though^^

+1 from me.

I like activity hubs! Like the old 4.85 copper ore rush in Omega-7. Everyone and their dog mined copper there. There were always pirates, RM recognising the ore taken to Liberty as contraband and organised miners. It was a lot of fun! This could achieve something similar.
