RE: Star Wars: Force Awakens Teaser #2 - Wesker - 04-17-2015 So spazzy is racist too? Wow RE: Star Wars: Force Awakens Teaser #2 - Pavel - 04-17-2015 RE: Star Wars: Force Awakens Teaser #2 - Ryus - 04-17-2015 (04-17-2015, 06:42 AM)sindroms Wrote: Are we really gonna start inserting random black people in Starwars films just for the sake of race equality or something? S.L.Jackson was more than enough. I guess Billy Dee Williams as Lando Calrissian doesn't count... So main characters are only allowed to be white, furry or wearing an alien bodysuit? They're teaser trailers, not plot recaps. RE: Star Wars: Force Awakens Teaser #2 - ProwlerPC - 04-17-2015 As long as they are human'sh (pretty certain the drones got put to an end but I hear canon is different) I don't care. Looking human anyways would be the prerequisite, the Empire tended to treat non humans as second rate citizens or even flat out slaves. As Jammi said, these are mere teasers and not plot recaps, however perhaps it's hinting at his character? Facial expressions are a gateway to emotion. You see spazzy in a movie people have to "act" it's sort of like role play only its a motion picture with lines and expressions to say/make. It helps make the movie more entertaining this is why they hire "actors" to play in a movie. I don't see why you have such a problem with his skin color. Also it's a trailer they obviously aren't going to spoil the whole movie, and have people saying tons of lines that helps make a dramatic effect in movies. RE: Star Wars: Force Awakens Teaser #2 - sindroms - 04-18-2015 I think you are missing the point. I am simply saying that apart from a token black guy, the character so far is giving off the vibe of THAT guy. You know. The That's A Lot Of Fish guy from Godzilla 2000. Or the guy playing Gadget in Inspector Gadget the Movie. The lovable aloof loser. Whohoho so whacky and awkward. You know. One step above Jar Jar. That will be our main. |
