Just nominate another leader from among yourselves and inform the admins. I'm sure they would be more than happy to go along with that. RE: <PRIME> Retirement from officialdom notification - FynnMcScrap - 07-03-2015 Well... I can not say Im surprised. I did not really join the faction, even though I had planned to. I had read Antagonists work and had just bought a used AI drone , so I started some RP that was meant to get me assimilated into Prime. And I joined the skype chat. Probaly my fault. Folks, I know this is a game, and we are all in here to have fun. But I muted that chat fast, and after a few days I did not even WANT TO BROWSE that chat. Excessive spam , thrash , and drama ... Thats not the stuff you keep a faction running with. And "logloglogwewannakill" ? Huh, some get the kicks out of it, but to me it was hollow. Antagonist did the best he could to give it a shell as far as I noticed, buit to me it always looked like a mask of RPwise excuses the others used to "log and LOL". Rest well, Prime. A pity. Patience is key here - I genuinely haven't had a good opportunity to just sit down and read your faction lore. I've been very busy IRL and only recently have had a chance to begin to catch up on a huge backlog of Discovery-related work that needs my attention. I was patient waiting for months to get the fundamental requirements or at least fixes for the AI faction ingame. Fixes, a simple already written adjustment for the infocards and the ID, but horribly being blamed from you guys, not especially from you though. If this is the way the staff likes to keep this mod alive then it should be, I have given my advises for an improvement. RE: <PRIME> Retirement from officialdom notification - Antagonist - 07-03-2015 Who wants to take the baton? Propably I will move on acting as the storyteller, as there is still so much unwritten. I have cleared anything out about the AI in the info post. The state the AI faction currently is. I never wanted the AI to be a skype emergency chat faction. RE: <PRIME> Retirement from officialdom notification - sindroms - 07-03-2015 (07-02-2015, 08:19 PM)Antagonist Wrote: As the title says I retire the <PRIME> faction from officialdom as it is currently. I am seriously appalled from the workflow, arrogance and also "level-of-noninterest" from the staff. The staff is not responsible for your faction. If you cannot work with the toys you are given, you are free to submit changes to make it better. Have you done so? Quote:Our faction is *** broken. The ID is broken, the infocards are broken,...anything of the AI is broken. You don't care our I receive words like. "Currently, no offense, there are bigger things at stake." and also being offened and accused of being nonproductive. Seriously isn't a timekill to update predefined infocards, an ID and an IFF.Your best choice is to submit all changes done to infocards in formatted text form for devs to implement. ID changes, especially if you need line changes are a bit more complicated as it probably needs an admin vote on it. Quote:It isn't fun to be official without the SLIGHTEST significant appearance that our lore is official somehow with the environment ingame.Welcome to Disco, you must be new. Quote: Furthermore that you guys declined requests that has become voted as officialdom previously is really embarrassing, this just supports the assumption that you haven't even read anything at all.Declining requests is to be expected, considering your juxtapositioning Quote:The acceptance, interest and respect of the AI are general low. This isn't fun anymore. We have worked out and put an incredible amout of time into a real good AI concept with a lot surprises, but nobody cares of it all. This isn't fun and having fun was the reason to accept this duty. You've invested time into concepts you personally thought were good. That might not be the case. My suggestion is you take a chill pill and be glad that you have access to an utterly broken snub and cruiser and just learn to live with it. AI RP was never really interesting, even back in the days when Harvesters were around. RE: <PRIME> Retirement from officialdom notification - Antagonist - 07-03-2015 True, that is infact the level it generally goes. We have been in accused from most sides to be meaningless and uninteresting, due to our predeccors or just of the level of interest itself. It rather comes down to opinions of a few. Thanks for pointing that out for us. |
