Finally someone who gets how Zoners work. About time. RE: I want either less powergaming or a bigger chance to participate in it @Devteam - Doria - 01-06-2016 When was the last time that happened? I dare you find a recent occurance of it. Stop talking about what you dont know and making drama out of nowhere, and besides you are changing the subject here. By the way, to the HF: you can dock on bethlehem if you want, just try not to do it in front of the lolbertonians. RE: I want either less powergaming or a bigger chance to participate in it @Devteam - Zayne Carrick - 01-06-2016 Hello, Spazzy, you're here long enough to know that making friends in Devs/Admins(even more becoming Dev/Admin) is much more effective than doing any roleplay. But of course, roleplay and friends are cumulative. So, because you both annoyed me, and I want to make sure you both don't roll back into this thread and derail it again the last Zoner FR5 (that I can find) occurred February 2nd, 2014 So, no more talk of the almighty FR5, its dusty from lack of use Spazzy, this won't go anywhere because the people you are trying change have the ability to turn a blind eye and claim "for the greater good" so its perfectly fine to have Dev's leading Factions, there obviously is no inherent advantage to knowing or being a Dev compared to just being your lowly player *insert sarcasm in the above statement* RE: I want either less powergaming or a bigger chance to participate in it @Devteam - Alley - 01-07-2016 if you're that offended about not being a dev, become one. Oh wait you'll have to learn to do something, the horror. RE: I want either less powergaming or a bigger chance to participate in it @Devteam - Swallow - 01-07-2016 Keep it civil *coughs heavily* don't disappoint me. RE: I want either less powergaming or a bigger chance to participate in it @Devteam - Haste - 01-07-2016 I don't think any dev can claim absolute "neutrality". I used to fly K'Hara and I'm fond of VHFs. The first ship of the new Nomad line that I put ingame (still needs tweaks, I'm aware) was the Predator VHF. A player fond of Cruisers would've likely aimed to implement the Cruiser first (both the Sascya and Irra have/had massive model-related balance issues, after all). You're more likely to think of issues (lack of docking points, a lacking shipline, and so on) with factions and ships you're personally close to. That's a fact. As such, those issues are slightly more likely to be fixed rapidly than other issues a dev may not be as aware of. Zero bias is impossible, human nature doesn't allow it. I'm personally in a luxury position of sorts that I really don't play any one faction more than another right now, so it's very easy to avoid bias and be fairly neutral (although people will happily accuse me of VHF bias whenever any class of ship is tweaked, but whatever). Anyhow, I think that every dev on the team right now strives to be neutral and fair to all players and factions. But as I said, you're never going to completely eliminate bias. RE: I want either less powergaming or a bigger chance to participate in it @Devteam - Laz - 01-07-2016 [06/01/2016 22:56:59] Phillip Reilly - Laz: Does the dev team have bias? [06/01/2016 22:58:05] Rohj Teerin (Jeremy): Bias in any form is extremely hard to completely eradicate, but we do try our best to be objective and impartial Just thought it was relevant. Teerin Question time ![]() RE: I want either less powergaming or a bigger chance to participate in it @Devteam - SnakThree - 01-30-2016 We want to know why Lead System Developer and Hellfire leader ( @Durandal ) refuses to find a peaceful solution to this problem, where official roleplay conducted by official faction with oversight by developer team, that reached out to many factions and created lasting effect, is partially contradicted by inwards, solo RP in stories forum that didn't involve a single outside faction and later on was introduced as a system change in a form of missing Bering->Hamburg JumpGate without concern or respect for others. And all we ask is to change the date of the Operation Anvil to a date after Ageira made Scientific Report by Sebastian Hart on Hudson and Bering Jump Gates, thus starting a string of roleplay, known as Hudson Crisis so that it makes logical sense that can be incorporated into lore. And while we understand that Operation Anvil was done first, at no point was Ageira contacted by Hellfire to organise something more interesting than just a string of stories' posts. Even when Ageira went ingame to conduct the investigation mission, participants encountered a Hellfire ship as Scientific Report by Oleg Nikolayevich Petrov on Hudson Gate describes, nothing was mentioned by the Lord Commander Locklear ( @Durandal ). No opportunity to make interesting roleplay, involving more than single faction, was seized. As @Durandal said, "Make love, not forum drama.", so we invite you to abide by your words in transparent in respectful way that contributes the community, not a single faction and hurting the other(s). Ageira's goal is to conduct roleplay reaching beyond Ageira. Help us achieve that. EDIT: Now that you have been linked this message, we are waiting for your response.
