Discounting faction and alt accounts, no option here reached a majority (50%). Instead, I'll work off the two pluralities (options A & B) in this manner:
The current plans, part of the Omegas + Hispania update package intended for 4.88.5, will be revised to switch the two systems around. In 4.89 (ideally following 4.88.6), we will again take input on the situation to see if the community can reach a majority vote one way or the other.
Simply put, if Omega-9's new position fails to work and becomes unpopular, we will indeed remove it. If so, don't expect to see it around for too much longer. For now however, we thought it best to give the switch a chance because in general, it's usually much easier to erase then restore, rather than the other way around.
I appreciate the discussion and ideas presented here, and look forward to seeing how this turns out.
