Eppy, the problem is those capital ships that pvp whore are not IN outcast space, as there's not as much fighting there as it is in Liberty. And frankly they do come here, every day. Also, it will be private because more people will be inclined to give a shot at it then. Publicly it takes a certain degree of let's say...courage, to post a story and submit yourself to public opinion which is, in most cases, stupid and blatantly offensive. If it is a private thing, everyone can pretty much give it a shot and no one will know about it apart from those who absolutely need to and the person being rejected/accepted. That, and you also create an atmosphere of comfort for the ones getting accepted, and a basis for more future cooperation than some random bureocratic registry where you're indifferent to it all. I'd rather create a friendly enviroment where everyone will be treated as a "friend" and accepted or rejected, than create an indifferent registry where everyone is an "applicant". I believe in a personal approach.

Edit: Also Eppy, let's not discuss outcast politics here, we can continue that in PM's or over skype, this is a thread for the Liberty cap ban.

The 522nd is going to have a whole lot of recruitment applications.:P

Good luck, though. You'll be ridiculed for this, but if the capwhorage is reduced, mission accomplished.

Quote:Mostly LR faction that died out from all cap spamming.
Actually, we lost the tag.

How'd they lose the tag?

The more people go to 522nd, the less lawful cap whorage we have:P It's going to be unlawful cap whorage then.

But then we have two cap-whoring parties that neutralize each other.

//Oh, god, it's gonna be a pain to fix my rep on my fighter. Cruiser is almost ready, though.

the 522 is like dead, the Ascendent Justice guy quite along with like 5 other people who went with him

Lose the tag? By namechanging to: LR-Name to Name.

o.O

And karma will be in full effect! Begin capwhoring the lawfuls... now!

Edit: Lies, I've been on my 522 quite often lately. In NY no less.

I look forward to working with someone as experienced as you.

Why'd they drop the tag?

I don't know my position on this...

I feel that I am the only person in New York who Rp's these day's. You may have seen the San Francisco around more recently becuase I am furiously trying to battle it into a Guard Tag (Which is being a right pain in the...)

I have seen some terrible Rp from LNS, so bad (3 cruisers v a Sabre etc) that some have gotten sanctioned for it... that does us no help, seeing as we are the place new players start.

(EDIT: I know that at times I have done nothing to stop the Spam and nonsense in the NY chat, in fact increasing it myself, noones perfect. I do however feel that I have never been ooRp on my LN character, do speak up if you feel different.)

On the other hand, I feel that restricting people is a terrible thing to do, I think people should be able to buy what they want, and enjoy themselves with it. I don't think they should be allowed to ruin it for other people though, which is what they are doing.

On yet another hand (Yes, I have more than two... *Waves hands mysteriously*) I have put a lot of work into Xing's new carrier, and even though the texturing I did probably won't be used, I fell in love with it when I was doing it. I had every plan to buy one after the new mod came out.

Will I be allowed? Will I get shot for buying a carrier? I know Razrs answer: Yes. What about anyone else?

I for one feel I rp well in game, my lack of role playing stories on the forums are due to 2 things:

1. I have been subtly informed that I can't write, which is true, I write in paragraphs of about 9 words. Why would anyone want to read it?

2. Once fun starts to act as work, I stop doing it. I play Freelancer to have fun, I go on these forums to relax, when it becomes more taxing than work, why on earth would I keep doing it?

So, if I buy a carrier in the new mod, will you do like you did with some players: Give them places in the [LN], will you add me to the list, will you want a 10 page Rp story from me?

Will you declare me KOS?
