Events in Gallia will make all the hard work of creating their systems worthwhile. There are asteroid fields, nebulas, you name it... perfect "unexplored" ground for us to kill each other.

All Fromage still being stored ingame have been replaced with Oxygen, so players won't be tempted to abuse this event

GRN/GRP PEEPS, your input is needed.
You do not really have anything to do with the Diamond.
So choose - Combat Event with automated payout but for specific IDs, or a thread you can post your blues in and get moneys like that?

The event lasts for 2 hours. If the time runs out, both the sellpoint and item is removed from the server.
Also , i suggest that if Galic forces take possession of Diamond , event not end , but Galic forces have to deliver Diamond back to New Paris first to win .

I'd go for the latter, but...
What -IF- we end up getting the jewel after catching someone red-handed shipping it? GRP might be fine with giving it away, but GRN surely won't. I asked the same question in PM, but it wasn't really responded to...
I think there should be a scenario for all possibilities, not just two while everyone else has to somehow break their iRP role. My opinion, though.

The problem is that I cannot allow NP to have the same 500 000 000 sellpoint for it. It would be unfair to the players willing to run it back to Liberty as most people would log GRN IDed ships for the much shorter route involved.
The kill-cash is the way around it. I might go as far as to allowing the GRN who docks the item back on New Paris to instantly win the rest of the 200 000 000$ pot that is reserved for the kill messages though, but even that might be problematic enough. Really, the GRN are being rewarded with the activity and the chance to shoot up plenty of Sirians at this point, the cash reward is an icing on it.
If they grab the diamond and return it to New Paris - the event concludes.

It wasn't a matter of us demanding rewards, it's more to clear up confusion on what are we supposed to do in case we get our grabby hands on it. ^^

Edit: I should suggest that you don't permit lawfuls to search for the jewel before anyone has found it, only interdict it. It'd ruin the fun for everyone if a GRP or GRN found it first, went straight to NP and the event ended just like that...
