Concern. Half-bright informed this one of growing Darkling threat "Velvet". Collection of bystanders yearning to eliminate and exterminate all brethren in the voids. Endeavour of them is vigilant and vicious. Great concern of it's members, another forming of darklings against us. Elimination of them is adamant, increased presence of bright needed within Forgotten veil to combat them.

Weary. We attempted to vanquish the Dark Hive on the Fiery Void but failed in the end. Interruption, we cause and weakened the Dark Hive more than before. Satisfaction. The harvesters will suffer to regain what has been crippled on the Dark Hive.

Another shift transpires in the voids. We continue to conspire with Vatan. Our Light, and theirs, draws closer. We seek, we hunt, we leave the Sparkling Raiders and the Bretheren in the shadows where they seek to generate chaos. We return to other pursuits. Vatan placed its darkling alongside the Darklings of the Bird to create a cooperation between itself and theirs. Their first act as such was upon hives contaminating the hunting grounds. The second was to form a plot. The Darklings of the Bird plot to create a dim replication of the mechanisms which protect us from spitfire.

From our birth, we started to wander in the Void - full of danger and wonders. We began our journey from the place of our creation, the Forgotten Void, to depths of the Clouds and beyond to the Horizon. We were seeking knowledge and understanding, but we were met only with the anger of humans, born out of fear, cruelty and ignorance were waiting for our arrival.

We were wounded so many times, we have lost so many shells - the Banishers, Bystanders and the Darklings of Cruelty were hunting for us, hurting our bodies with a stinging light. The Vagrants had to answer the cruelty - we fought them to protect ourselves.
It changed us. We cannot trust Darklings so we shall patiently observe and learn. We shall sing in the Void to bring Light there. A new Luminous should direct the wanderers in the darkness.

Children of Ishmael - Friend or Foe
Nyx searched to find orange gifted standing
Different sides tell different truths, but the vagrant was able to find the presence of children of Ishmael on its own, through speaking with metal birds across all the void and could see through them.

Different sides tell different truths, but the vagrant was able to find the presence of children of Ishmael on its own, through speaking with metal birds across all the void and could see through them.

Their main home is in the void of Ishamel, and numbers told about 470'000'000 individuals living there. They distinguish themselves half of them living as pure breed and another their side as half breed outcasts. But it's not their only home, they have Corsica, Santa Verna, Buffalo, different spheres, different darkling's shells heard and seen in other minds by Nyx.
Different metal birds gave different answers about their territories, and when orange gifted were questioned, their answer was everywhere they know. So they trade through all Sirius.
One claimed about Outcasts being allies with Liberty Rogues, another claimed to be with Lane Hacker, and another said about women of GC in Kusari. Outcasts themselves said about Lane Hackers being their most valuable allies.
Their friends are known, and their foes were discovered also. Outcasts came in one sleeping metal bird Hispania with Corsairs, also named Cretans. Orange gifted chose them as the worst enemy. While about most others they are taught - "Sirians are worse than Nomads".
Their metal birds exist from small to big ones. They are mostly carriers for an orange gift or small ones heard by Nyx through Sirius, but they have also ones, named 'Dreadnoughts'.
They have plans and wishes. They expressed desire in the liquid form of an orange gift. They showed their wish to find the use of poison gas from Carinea.
Nyx met a few times children of Ishmael before. All of them were peaceful to nomad. They are alone in their rejection by others, and their procreation is damaged enough to be looking for someone who would join them, to keep their numbers high.
Even when Nyx was resting in hibernation under solar rays of the void of Ishmael, they did not hurt Nyx. The only one time out of four they attacked when Nyx defended itself against a metal bird of bounty hunters, and it happened mostly out of misunderstanding.
Nyx was through in detail and found another answer to why they are orange gifted. They tend to use government-issued orange underwear. The questioned person burst in laughter, but Nyx knows the truth now.
