Zoner City Ship - Bjorn - 12-13-2008 I like the model, but i dont like new engine overkill. As far as you can see in original freelancer designs, most engines you can actually find on battleship are 3-4 with 1-3 being regular. (BHG ships have too much engines due being bloody Star wars ships) I see idea was ship with large bulk and large extent of habitational hubs. But, engines take... like half of the ship. Even for that bulk, its far too much. Also it lacks detail in great extent, or to be precise, it looks empty. This feel is mainly due to boring textures. Zoner City Ship - Doom - 12-13-2008 both battlestars already have new models. so i dont know... As for this ship i dont know...Battlestars are both real battleships (BStar classic is on the smaller side of battleships) while this seems to be very big. Zoner City Ship - Carme - 12-13-2008 Better solution: a NEW ship, and all Battlestars and BS Adv. get locked away on an admin base, or no base, and everyone flying them get repossessed (WITH Refunds) since Battlestars are stupid and have no place in Sirius sector, *ESPECIALLY* because they are ZONER ships? Zoners are NOT a militant faction, yet they have FOUR battleship class vessels? BS, BS Adv. BS II, Juggernaut... >.> BS II's would not get locked away, because they already are, and im pretty sure theres only 1 or 2 in play, and Yoda deserves his to stay as long as he feels like keeping it... Zoner City Ship - Malaclypse 666 - 12-13-2008 I'd agree on the over-abundance of engines. This thing is probably designed to move at a crawl, if at all. I don't see the Zoners moving a "city" around on a daily basis. Once it's parked, it would take an act of War or the Goddess to make it move again. Therefore.. dinky engines and more "city". As to the whinging about Zoner Caps.. I assume they were assigned to us marvelous Zoners by default, no other reason. While I'd agree we make too many caps, I don't agree with taking cheap shots at the CR just because they fly em. They've earned them, IMHO. At the very most, they should keep theirs as "grandfathered". Yoda too. The rest can be recalled. You can't have our Juggy, tho. Heh. Zoner City Ship - Armageddon - 12-13-2008 Errm.... I was trying to think of a post that would not be flaming against that attack against imports. If the topic was read it would be clear to certain people that almost all of the BSG ships are gone next mod for freelancerfied versions. Any way back on topic I personally like the look of the ship it is exactly what the zoners need in a capital a moving city. I like it a lot although maybe a few less engines in exchange for absolutely huge engines. (I has facination with a lot of flame coming out of th exausts of a cap.) But thats just me...
