EDIT: It's a sort of cyan-ish colour.

Well my thought on it was that it has more to do with technology or general alignment than the house that uses it...
lawfuls use green = police, military, hunters, ect
neutrals use white = civilians, angels, traders, freelancers, mercenaries, ect
unlawfuls use red = pirates, terrorists, admins, phantoms, ect
Smugglers and or Outcasts/Corsairs could maybe get 2 different shades of Orange.
Order should use Black to signify thier specific brand of "stealthy" technology.
Nomads use Blue/Purpleish to match thier ships and to show that its more of a bioelectric beam of sorts.
SCRA should get yellow since they are not only against every other faction but because it would be a different technology and because yellow is part of thier "theme".
Anyways just my 2 cents.

If awesome was a colour, we'd have it. That not being the case, red, gold or maybe plain white would do.
