Like player requests or something else? And are we able to trade on different routes, like one fly the gold-alu ore route and the other helium? Players who share a network connection and play together must not engage in trading/mining while doing so. You can trade together,. The best way not to get reported is that you are not both linked together ie. when one ship appears to drag the other everywhere it goes. We also see, when both Ships are greeted, only one Ship responds. This then gets people to believe that it is one person flying two Ships. This is not difficult one to work out. Don't appear as though you are one person flying two or more Ships. If you are two people, then fly the Ships individually. RE: Admin Notice: Rule changes regarding cheating + Clarification on CDing cloaked ships - Jasoneagle - 02-26-2017 I played on a Multi User Domain many years ago via Telnet and all while on a Military Base, Not same building but most times same IP Chain and many Players on that same game all got blocked do to the Multiboxing, Powertreading, whatever you whis to call it. (And incase you dont know a MUD on Telnet is a Text Based Game) to work around this Everyone that played in the base Network and others like it had to Send an Email to the Admin Teams with the Names of the Characters they Played and no new Character was approved until it was proven to Not be a Bot. Just a Suggestion. Are exceptions resolved on case-to-case basis? I would like to have some further explanation on CD-ing pursued player to get it killed with gunboat NPC patrol. I've been to such a situation a few times, but since it is not against server rules I have not reported it, despite it being pretty low of the chasers. Quote:5.3 Intentionally ramming a capital ship with a smaller ship in order to ''flip'' it or ramming a capital ship in order to ''catapult'' your ship away from it.A question I made earlier but I haven't got the direct answer. Is continous ramming considered attack and may be dealt with lethal force, just like in case of ID that is insulted inRP and can engage the character regardless of the lines as roleplay consequences? RE: Admin Notice: Rule changes regarding cheating + Clarification on CDing cloaked ships - Calo - 02-27-2017 Bumping. Is not considered an attack but an exploit/cheating which you will have to report it, however that will require you to record your gameplay every time you play in order to provide evidence for it, good luck doing that.. *the same applies to 5.2 (02-26-2017, 05:02 PM)St.Denis Wrote: You can trade together,. While is nice to expand the cheating section with more examples i do believe will cause more troubles then before . . RE: Admin Notice: Rule changes regarding cheating + Clarification on CDing cloaked ships - sindroms - 02-27-2017 We needed to clarify the current team's view on some of the topics that have been picked up before, specifically regarding cloak-cding and ramming. Different green team, different views than before. Indeed good luck. This PC can choke in a bigger event and drop way below 10 fps during such a thing. Oh well. RE: Admin Notice: Rule changes regarding cheating + Clarification on CDing cloaked ships - sindroms - 02-27-2017 Some reports need more extensive evidence than screenshots, sadly. It is just how things are. Also, can you please elaborate on your specified example : Quote:I would like to have some further explanation on CD-ing pursued player to get it killed with gunboat NPC patrol. I've been to such a situation a few times, but since it is not against server rules I have not reported it, despite it being pretty low of the chasers. It seems awfully specific. |
