The Durosa landed smoothly and the hatch opened with a squeal. As Mink stepped out he turned bck to his brother in the pilots seat and gave him a thumbs up. He watched for a minute while the battered Grizzly took off with a reluctant shudder. Then turning around he marched towards the applications offices.
The guys would be glad to see him again.
Upon entering the office he walked over to the clerk's desk like he owned the place (he used to, actually). The girl behind the big carbon fiber desk was young and new, she had her hair tied in a tight knot and sat with a prim and organized attitude. Mink preferred their old clerk, she had been a fat woman in her mid-forties, and she was so good at what she did it seemed almost as if she could remember faces and names she'd never seen before. But this new girl had no idea who he was.
"Ello marm, I would like an appointment with Von Gotteshand."
"Ok, we have an opening several weeks from now, on a Tuesday, Manhatten time."
"Now sounds better."
"I'm sorry I can't give you an appointment with such short notice."
"Oh, thats too bad, tell me, what happened to Gertrude?"
"Who?"
"Gertrude the old clerk, she could get me an appointment whenever I liked, there was a woman who could do her job well, I should have guessed they couldn't replace her."
As he began to walk off the woman started tapping on her keyboard and called out to him.
"Well, I guess he's not that busy, he may be able to take a surprise visitor."
"Good," came the quick reply, and without waiting for her to unlock the doors Mink swiped his employee card and went on up.

Once he got to Gotteshand's office he tapped twice and went in with out hesitating. Gotte seemed aggravated at the intrusion at first but as soon as he recognized who was standing before him his eyes brightened.
"Mink! Its great to see you again, what brings you back out to this edge of the galaxy?"
"Hey, Goat, the Whipperwills have suffered some family problems following the capture of James. I needed a job and knew you guys always loved someone new to push around."
"Oh? I hope 'ol James is alright. What happened?"
"Long story short he was cought by LSF while escorting in Liberty space. He just got out of Huntsville and now him and Felix are knocking about in that scrapheap of a Grizzly that just took off."
"Too bad, mate, well If you'll stay planetside for a few days Ill have a word with Ian and see if there's anywhere we can use you, but I can't make any promises."
"Thanks, Goat, I knew i could count on you. By the way, what happened to Gertrude, I dont much like this new girl."
"Oh, Belle? Yea, she was Ian's idea.."
"Oh, well that explains it."
They were both chuckling as Mink wandered back out of the office to find a nearby hotel.

Hello my name is Captain R. Fang and am from the distant world of Gran Canaria.
I grew up on the border worlds with my mom and dad. When I was just 17, my dad's convoy had been ambushed by an invading Outcast fleet. At that point I thought he was dead. Our planet was under severe bombardment and became a fighter pilot to protect my planet. While amidst a huge space battle I had come into contact with another ace, who I was able to kill after a lengthy battle, but found out later it was my father who had been trained in the ways of the Outcast. From there I joined a deep space reconnaissance group who would patrol the edge worlds. Now, I have a large explorer ship, the K-41. It currently has 27 crew members.
My idea of what the guild does is to bring prosperity to those who deserve it the most. To those who dedicate themselves to working in the harsh environments in asteroid fields. Therefore I think it is crucial to find new fields and exploit them for their minerals.
To the IMG, I can bring my ship and my expertise of the edge worlds, Tau;Omicron;Sigma;Omega, and be a reliable source for finding new mine-able areas that will prove extremely lucrative to our profession.

Hallo this is Cameron Mitchell. I'm currently having a working Raven's Talon. I'm also using IMG ID. So I'll request to join the Guild as Explorer and Defender. I have experience in fights from humans to Nomads, so I hope I'll do good service for you. I've worked as escort in my days as freelancer and know what to do when the bad guys come and want the transport vessle to dust and the cargo in their ships.
But anyway let's bring us a little back in time for my background:
I was born on planet Los Angeles at Liberty Space. Was born in a pritty good family. My father worked for the Navy and my mother was a Ageira member. When I was 16 I lost my dad in a millitary mission. The navy didn't tell anything else. After that my mother never went to space again and kept working at Los Angeles as office worker for Ageira. So when I became 18 I started going out in space to train my skills as pilot in a Starflier. But that training payed off and when I became 19 I joined the Freelancers and did a few escorts to get money for my Raven's Talon. After that I slowly earned rep with the guild and finaly got my ID. So right now as I told you I'm at Freeport 11 becouse I promised "Nomads" for Project "STARGATE". And don't worry I'm not infected. If you want you can beam me to the medical bay to run test to see I'm not lieing... I think I'll go the the Nomad worlds for a day or two every week or two, so most of my time I'll spend as a defender... I hope I'll fully join the Guild. Oh I almost forgot - can I also keep my ship's name I mean I just want it to stay as "Cameron.Mitchell" without a tag in front of it. In close range scanners they'll see I'm IMG.

Well hello again Mr Mitchell! i am glad that you have choosen to apply for the guild but just a few things, you would have to stay within Tau, Omega, any space around IMG base's although exceptions made if needed for escort duties. You would also be required to put the tag onto the front of your name aswell as the department letter at the end of it ( [D] in your case)
your fighting ability dowa sound like it would be handy to have around and it is nice to see a Libertonian wanting to join the IMG heh
but if you can agree to sticking the tag's on aswell as sticking to systems i have stated above then i would be happy to accept you into the Guild

Greetings again Ian. I believe we met in space while i was piloting my mining ship Geneseo through the Tau-23 field. I would like to offer my working services as a miner in the Guild. As you have already seen, I pilot a new and fully paid off mining ship, with proper affiliation and rights to do independent mining work in IMG fields. However, recently I have been wanting more from my career. Straying from Kusari as a youth, I quickly found home on Stokes Mining Station. When the station was lost to Kusari, I escaped into the Tau systems and found my profession to be a freelance miner. I have racked up plenty of experience over the years, and while I may still be getting used to my new Mining Ship, I know a few tricks to avoid pirates and some inside information. You can come across some valuable rumors hanging around Freeports most of your life. Which brings me here, I want more from my life, more organization, teamwork, group leadership, and a safe haven from those wretched outcasts. In return, I offer my ship and dedicated services as a miner, hoping to ensure the welfare of the Guild for years to come. If need be, early in my life I flew an outdated Viper MK1 model, and I would be able and willing to get behind the controls of a fighter or bomber again.
