Yes here it is about the gameplay, having fun.
If you want realism and ass kicking, I would spend the billions of credits I have earned on a Rheinland BS with Cap8 armor then taken its 2.8million Armor Points and 21 Guns and chased down every Hessian Loki LF I would see.
Since its a game, I don't buy caps, and if I do, they come out once a month so I don't lose them.
However, if you do desperately want some realism, meet me outside Planet New Berlin....

If you want to really know why the pre-planned attacks are so nice, go and join OC and Corsairs as indie. Then when you see a big congregation of say OC caps log in switch to Corsair fighter and go wait in Gamma for them to show up.
And if you see Corsair caps log in then fire up your Sabre and go wait in Alpha.
I guarantee you'll see the good points of announced invasions and battles.

Well, I guess it's obvious that most of the guys here don't share that opinion, so I guess we will stick with what we have. And I personally have seen a nice browser-based game going downhill because no one enforced fairplay. If it wouldn't be done, same would happen here until only it would be just another PvP-server. Would be just a matter of time. Try to live with it, or follow the advice given by Dab.

planned battle only apply for a huge scale of war/combat...normal pvp doesnt need to be plan......
