A wonderful waste of my and everyone else's time.

For future reference: if is considered incredibly impolite to sign up for events if you have no intention or capability to participate.

Sorry, I was told a week ago in discord that this event had been canceled. I could not have come anyway today. Apologies on behalf of the Corsairs.

Hi Scourge. You are right that I should have signed out of the event, not gonna contest that. However, I would like to point out that the event was terribly mismanaged. Initially the even was supposed to take place on the 16th or 17th for which I had signed up for. It was then postponed, I should have signed out at this time but I didn't and that's my fault. However, the event was then given a tentative date for the 22nd or 23rd. Furthermore, a whole bunch of outcasts (including aces) signed up, thus discouraging corsairs from signing up initially. Instead, I'd recommend that the sign up procedure follow a waitlist format, where, for every 1 outcast that signs up, a corsair must sign up as well before the next outcast can be let in. Lastly, we were given 3 hours notice before the event's date was finalised for last night/22nd. For some people, this is not enough time. Like I said, I should have signed out if I wasn't sure I couldn't make it, but the event could also have been managed a lot better. In comparison with other, similar events, it wasn't.
