IF it were allowable, why would you do it though? It might be amusing the first time, but after that most traders will not ever pay knowing you'll shoot them anyway. So then it will lead to pirating fail.

Verry true, I don't personaly like the idea for doing it myself, as I find traders who trust the pirates generaly end up paying those pirates more and give better RP in the process.
I just thought perhaps it would be nice if some-one was going to be realy mean to me and pirate me and then kill me. I may not like that much, but that would be a good bit or RP methinks. (As long as its not done too often)

For regular pirates , no. For terrorists , maybe.

So , either be a terrorist and blow em up , or be a pirate and pirate them ...

Ah well, enough about me, I say no, if they've paid, why would they kill them? Why not get more money from them next time?
xeno's are not supposed to charge player's......
but i must say that if you take cargo or money from them. then you should not be able to destroy them

No, Xeno's aren't allowed to pirate, just kill.
Also, and as I have already said, it may seem unfair, but this would be likely to happen were this real life (cos it's not fair out in real world), some pirates may/would do that.
I will admit, I'm all for this, but I can easily see how it would be better for the gameplay if they don't kill pirated targets, but I was simply thinking of the realism side of things.

Why would you want to cut off a hand that feeds you ?
If he's doing what he's told to - free to go.
If not - penalties vary from loosing everything to death.
Beeing pain in the arse and wasting 70 CD's on a trader ain't that bad and boring for a pirate while most of traders give up after few of them.

In real life when you die, you are dead, no respawns at all.
If it is ok to blow up a Trader even though he has paid because that's how it is in real life, then the pirate must stay dead (start a new char) after the bounty is serviced on his asss!
It's a game.. we haz rulez to make it fun and fair!
Ganking a Trader after payment is neither fun nor fair!
